Loaning out Connolly and Jones could be saving us around a million pound, maybe more. Money that could go towards squad restructure next season and let's be honest we don't need either player for the remaining few games.
For once I think things are being done correctly.
In a way I agree but it's the way Tan has gone about business. He has run this one very badly as it is just a play thing. Russell Slade is as Annis said it. Don't like him don't like his football, and he is just Tans bitch who has given him a job that he otherwise would never have, he would be on the football managers scrap heap. But I agree we need to cut cloth and we need to start again but do it properly. Slades football ain't the start its desperate. Get a good young hungry manager in that wants to play the game the right way, then we will be moving forward. And getting rid of Jones is good news in my book.

Vincent Tan/ Russell Slade Keep saying its business decision, after business decision, getting rid of our best players.
So dont expect fans to buy season tickets or pay £32 plus admission.
Russell Slade has been put in charge to carry out all Tans demands and has known from day one, what Tan wants,So no one should feel sorry for Slade as only a manager with No ambition in " my opinion " would take on a club that only intends to get rid of all its best players and have No Ambition to go back up.
You cant have it both ways?
City Fans are still fuming over the Rebrand and the Club not caring, now for the last 3 months they have continually seen many of our best players go.
I can sometimes understand why Season Ticket Sales are at an all time low in the last 10 years.
Wez, If you got to every game, Most fans have not bothered this season and thats a fact.
That's their choice though.
Prices are cut for next year so costs need to be cut as we'll especially with so many fans abandoning the club.
CCFC have to comply with FFS same as everyone else.
Slade is here to cut costs and is doing a good job of it.
Millions off the wage bill and still competitive.
Tim,
Your right, the choice is theirs, but do we really want to have a near empty stadium next season? ?
The stadium will be half empty because the people not renewing and the people not turning up for games are, in the main, NOT Cardiff City supporters. They are football supporters who have an interest in Cardiff City, particularly when we are doing well such as getting to Wembley four times and gaining promotion to the Premier League. The support our Club gets from the City of Cardiff itself is pitiful and pathetic. A City of some 320,000 people should be able to provide 25,000 fans EVERY game without the need for support from the Valleys and other areas outside of Cardiff. Instead of supporting THEIR local football club they spend their time down the pub supporting the Mancs and the Scousers. You support YOUR football club because they are YOUR football club....not just when they are doing well only to piss off during the bad times.

This is our first season since then where we haven't had anything to play for - usually promotion/playoffs but last year the Premier League/relegation.
Will we sell more than at the start of the 2007-8 season?
Surely you or Carl can find that figure out Annis?

most on here had priorities in this order
1 colours now we have them back
2 badge now we have a new one more inkeeping with our tradition
3 debt now we are addressing our debt our fans on here are still not happy
4 playing performance just starting to get that right aswell still the fans moan
5 giving the young players a chance now we are moving regular starters out who are on high wages creating an opportunity for others to start fans still moaning ,
6 squad size and wage bill
now both being reduced fans still moaning
7 cost of supporting our club through season tickets , now been reduced ( 2adults 2 kids for £ 700 ) other reductions aswell , still they moan
theres a theme here
doesnt look like the club can please some of our SO CALLED SUPORTERS can they
for me sorry to say it but it appears that its the same people moaning all the time
if your not a season ticket holder or a regular walk up fan or away fan now or next season imo your oppinion dont count
