why aint tan building a team to go back to the prem i agree with previous posts selling all our best players and putting up with average first /championship players that will never make the prem.......why should fans renew season tickets its hardly gonna attract fans is it.............fans will only return if they can see they have a reason too. selling good players that imo we need to keep to return to prem level aint gonna attract nothing never mind fans. ...ok lets sell the whole team and give players a chance that might be good one day in div 1 ffs this aint happening is it.......i will always support cardiff no matter what, but dont have a go at people not renewing season tickets and its got nothing to do with our identity, after all our identity should never have been taken in the first place and now they are selling our best players.. so ok lets reduce the wage bill then what????have an empty stadium when fans are gonna pay hard earned cash to watch shite players.....i can do that for free and watch my local players up the field u numpties.............they at the moment would play better than cardiff are playing......im loving our recent string of results but ill repost this after the big kull of our players and then see where we are!!!!!lucky to stay in championship thats where......... not happy

How much did we actually pay for Manga?

No way will any money coming in for players be reinvested, not a chance. Next season we will be after free transfers or maybe with a fair wind one or two players between £50k and £100k. We are not playing with the PL big boys or even the big Championship clubs anymore, we are competing with the bottom half of the championship now, our aims have changed, we have gone from trying to get out of the championship to the PL, to staying in the championship and not going to league one. We have had our PL adventure, now it's back to basics. Also there is already one established Welsh team in the PL, so I don't think anyone will be rushing to get another one in there. bluescarf:

If we are set to sell all these players then why not give the youth a try now? I don't get it. I feel Ralls, Healey, O'Sullivan, Harris, and Moore could all be squad players next season. Plus, any other players looking impressive in the youth set up. I would actually have no problem with them all being involved next season. Even if it means another season of lower to mid-table mediocrity. Now that we are not going down I don't understand the point in playing players that won't be here next season. What if one of them gets a 6 month long or more injury?

I am a fan of Turner, but he is nowhere near sa good as Turner - different class. I don't see a Turner-Morrison combination as having the right balance.

I agree, I think Turner is better than Morrison but Manga is a different level.

But in my opinion Manga is a luxury type of player for a championship club, It wouldn't surprise me if he is on 30/40k a week.

My house is for sale, you just need to part 250k for it. Its worth about 230~240k but 250 will be just fine, offer for less than 250 and you can get lost...

Back to the days of being a selling club with no ambitions. If this is true, then we have resigned ourselves to life in the Championship or worse. We must keep Marshall and Manga if we have any designs on promotion at all. It's all about Tan grabbing what he can , if it's true. He cares so much he has been to one game all season.
