No solutions because I haven't got any (assuming that some exist) and I did tell you so.![]()
Seriously though, if you'd have told me as I travelled home from the play-off semi defeat to West Ham that within a couple of years I and hundreds if not thousands of others like me would feel the way we currently do about the football club we had supported passionately all of our lives, I'd have laughed in your face.
The re-brand, combined with Tan's antics and the reactions of a large percentage of the fanbase, has provided a very significant watershed for many formerly dedicated Cardiff City supporters. The events of the last few years have literally been life-changing. Attitudes have changed significantly, as have lifestyles. Amazingly, a man from Malaysia has managed to cure plenty of Bluebirds of their football addiction. And once the kind of bond that many of those fans felt with the club has been broken, it's going to be very difficult to repair.

You could argue that until your bollocks drop off, but it won't make what I said any less true.

I do indeed realise that. Football is not that important. Cardiff City Football Club is even less so.
Both used to be very important to me, but life has changed following the re-brand. You could say it's been life-changing.

I like my football but it has always come second and as funny as it sounds I reckon your in a better frame of mind now after the rebrand. Not that you'll ever forgive tan, I know you won't but he's probably done you a favour in a strange sort of way

That's absolutely, 100% true and it's one of the many problems Cardiff City is currently facing. Incredibly, the club and its idiotic owner deliberately alienated a considerable number of dedicated supporters whose lives used to more or less revolve around it. Getting those fans to support the club again either at all or on any kind of a regular basis is going to be an uphill struggle to say the least.

I may be wrong, but the guys around me had a laugh at the crowd just before it came up on the big screen
Yes Chris it was announced.
