So you are refusing help from someone who has great contact within the recruitment industry ? Ever heard of the phrase 'it's not what you know but who you know ?' Agencies may in effect be competitiors but realistically they all know one another so knowing someone in the field will benefit. Do you ring the agencies every morning first thing to ask for work ?

Also may I just add that if you are a teacher then you know that taxes go towards schools and as you say youngsters education yet you are willing to prefer that money go to your housing because flipping burger jobs is too below you.

You are a failure in your jobs and have acted despicably publicly. I don't wish to associate myself with someone like that as it wouldn't set a good example as a teacher.

Yes i do, that is the premise of benefits Adam, it is what they are there for. If you don't like the fact that unemployed people can claim benefits i suggest move to another country. I have a great skill to offer the local community and help make your kids successful people, i could be finding jobs to do this yet instead you want me to take up my time flipping burgers? :laughing6:

You can do a job in another area and still apply for jobs. You do not need to be unemployed to have enough free time to apply for other jobs. You're a teacher and you know that. You're just trying to justify your actions and nobody is falling for it. When the young of today refuse to get jobs in places like McDonalds because they think those jobs are beneath them, just remember you were one of the role models that led to them thinking in that way.

Yes a failure, complete and utter failure. And you actions which led you to be under investigation cost the taxpayers money, we were paying for your incompetence.

Yes Adam a teacher, someone who enables children to fulfil their promise and not someone who scrounges off the unemployed.

And theres me thinkingx that a good teacher should do his research before he preaches his subject so let me do it for you. Merthyr taxpayers were overcharged for over 30 years for their housing benefit and that created an overpayment off £9.9 million pounds during that time. The reason I was under investigation was because
they didn't want the public to know because of the level of repayments they would need to make and to this day I still get thanks from families for helping them get their refunds. Over 30 years of previous Councillors either helped keep it quite or didn't investogate yet you say that I'm the failure!!!!

Regarding your last comment not every child can for full their potential hence why they go into other industries like catering when they get older. The famous Blair words 'education, education, education has destroyed the hands on jobs isn't his country.

What about your potential wanting to be a benefit claimant ?

I asked about housing benefits, a field im not familiar with considering ive never claimed any sort of benefit.

What lifestyle would that be? Id like to think any child I teach will be more ambitious than working at Mc.donalds.

Hey Adam, instead of trolling (and doing it very poorly and uninformed) can you explain your actions which we all had to pay for here please...

A FORMER South Wales councillor has been fined £2,000 after sending messages to his tenants ordering them to move out or "things will get out of hand".

Adam John Brown, 37, a former Merthyr Tydfil councillor for the Gurnos ward, admitted an act likely to interfere with the peace or comfort of a residential occupier at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court after electing a crown court trial.

On top of the £2,000 fine, the Recorder of Cardiff Eleri Rees ordered him to pay £2,500 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.

It is not the first time Brown has courted controversy.

Earlier this month he was banned from standing in an election for the next three years after a tribunal into his conduct as a councillor.

The Adjudication Panel for Wales concluded by unanimous decision that Brown deliberately failed to abide by Merthyr council's code of conduct and had persistently breached it. In July 2009, the thencouncillor sparked an outcry following a web forum poll he created asking people if they wanted to bed former murder suspect Amanda Knox - dubbed Foxy Knoxy by national newspapers.

More recently, he was criticised after calling for a 9pm curfew for under-16s in Merthyr and in August, he was lambasted for posting a controversial joke making light of the Morecambe Bay cockle-picking disaster which claimed the lives of 21 Chinese workers. Speaking at the time he said it wasn't his best joke, but was putting it out there as a "feeler" amid plans for a career in stand-up comedy.

Alexander Greenwood, prosecuting, said Brown had sent repeated messages to his tenants at a property he owns at Llwyn Berry, Georgetown, near Tredegar, telling them to get out or find the locks changed and their belongings in the street.

Nurse Mary Lou Enriquez, together with her husband and children, had been living in the property since October 2006.

But on July 24 this year, Brown, of Anchor Road, Penarth, told them he needed the house for his parents because they were experiencing difficulties with their home and he wanted them out by the end of August.

He told them: "I can assure you, you will be out of the property by the end of the month. Do the right thing. Find another property otherwise things will get out of hand. I promise you."

Ms Enriquez visited the local council the following day to ask about council housing and was told Brown had not given the statutory two-month written notice.

It was the start of a 10-day wrangle between Brown, Ms Enriquez and council officials, which saw him become aggressive and loud.

"He said he needed the family out no matter what anyone said," said Mr Greenwood.

Ms Enriquez became so concerned she kept her doors and windows locked and even stopped the children from playing outside. In interviews, Brown admitted sending the messages and that he did intend to change the locks.

Claire Wilks, defending Brown, who has five court appearances for eight offences, including possession of an offensive weapon, a football banning order, assaulting police and public order matters, said: "He was frustrated by the situation and he behaved in a wholly inappropriate way."

Sentencing Brown, and ordering 28 days' custody in default of payment, Judge Rees said: "One can only imagine the climate of fear that built up around them during the 10-day period. Your behaviour during that time was despicable."

No Adam, no. Some of the court costs are recovered by the fine, not all. You have been to court how many times in your life? Like i said, us taxpayers have to pay for you being a despicable excuse of a man.

No, i don't wonder why I am out of work. I am fully aware that the school in Spain I worked for had their funding cut and closed.

Hang on, you were working for a school in Spain ? So the taxes you paid didn't even go to the British exchequer meaning that your point from the start and the 'I worked for 12 years' comment is nonsense!!!

Tell me, was my court costings more than the £9.9 million which I found out was overcharged to the people of Merthyr ? That wouldn't be a drop in the ocean compared to that amount.

Tell me your name, address and left me know what agencies you have registered with and I will help you out.

Also what did you mean about me sponging off the unemployed ?

No Adam, no. i worked in Spain for 2 years, England for 5 years and Wales for 5 years. I have paid UK taxes for a decade.

 don't worm your way out of it sunshine. You have cost us all a fortune with your disgusting behaviour. Otherwise i can say "look how many people ive helped make a success of themselves and thus make the economy better which dwarfs the £50 a week i now need to help me survive". Works both ways pal.

You also show a distinct lack of understanding of how UK employment works. A terrifying prospect for someone in recruitment. You understand that by me taking a burger flipping job I am creating a bottle neck in unemployment. Do you understand the notion of being over qualified for something? That means while I am flipping burgers, some 18 year old college drop out stays on benefits as they dont have the opportunity to get the highly qualified jobs i can. By taking a job "beneath me" is causing more harm than good to the economy.

If you want to debate employment then lets do it and i will ruin you. I have all night, remember i am unemployed :thumbright:

Im not giving you anything apart from utter distain, it is people like you that are driving this country into the gutter.

So why say 12 years when you now say it's 10 ?

Of course I know the meaning of being over qualified but when I also know the meaning about personal responsibility for you and others in your home and the best way is to work until your preferred job comes your way. I work day and night and get around 3 hours sleep each and every day because January is always slow so I do a night job which by he way is a Hotel Night Receptionist to help pay the bills. In your world is that not the right thing to do then becaus pe the job of a Hotel Night Receptionist is beneath a Company Director in your world ? And if that's the case then personal I don't give a f**k because the only thing on my mind is keeping a roof over my head and food on the family table and I'm proud of that.

Now this has turned into just a bunch of ad hominem attacks. There's more to teaching than simply marking homework Adam and you know that. I know you're just trying to get under the blokes skin because you dislike those on benefits. As for Gibson, your attitude as a teacher stinks quite frankly. You're supposed to be a role model and the economic climate at the moment is tough. Its hard enough for graduates to obtain jobs because of the current climate yet you are suggesting those straight out of school are more ambitious when looking for work? No offence but you're talking completely out of your arse. Different story if you're sending them on to college or university but even then McDonalds is a great part time job to take on to top up student loans. As a teacher, you seem massively out of touch with the reality of the modern world.

Do you realise how much you cost the taxpayer every time your shocking behaviour gets taken to court? We pay for you to be a knob.

Didn't you also wish someone died of cancer on here?

Your homework definitely would be a "D- see me"

As a landlord if anyone done over £10k worth of damage to my property to my property I would take action like any other person would. I take it that if you were in that position you would allow that to happen then ?
Oh and by he way any court costs was paid for in the fine!!! Pmsl And you wonder why you are out of work!!!!

Stick to making fun of people dying, wishing people die of cancer, failing as a councillor and costing us taxpayers a fortune every time you act a cock

Also I see that you make comments without any substiance and The lack of employmentin the UK is your latest one

I didn't, i said i paid taxes for 12 years... Which is true.

Well if you know the meaning of being over qualified and the impact it has on unemployment in the UK then you wouldn't be making such ridiculous statements about personal responsibility. If every highly qualified individual in the UK took your advice then the country would be brought to its knees within weeks.

Who cant keep a roof over their heads? I certainly can due to the money i put in the pool for this exact scenario. The fact I kiss a female has no baring on whether I am morally entitled to it regardless of what you say. I have asked you to explain and you cant, for obvious reasons. So if you have an issue with me claiming then you have an issue with everyone claiming and i suggest you move country.

I never make comments without substance pal. Talking of substances... Shall we talk about your drug abuse now? Do you understand that buying these illegal drugs is fuelling the black market economy that costs tax payers tens of millions a year? Do you understand by buying these drugs you are limiting your resources to feed your family? :thumbright:

And you are entitled to your opinion, thankfully i disagree and hope that comes across in my teaching. In fact, i ensure it does.

If qualified people started taking all the unqualified jobs our economy would crash almost instantly and unemployment would be at its highest in history.

Whatever you're teaching, its clearly not economics, because you're talking completely out of your backside again. Good luck finding a new position. The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned. I can then be free from your drivel and you'll be putting poor pupils through the arduous ordeal instead, bless their souls.

So you have never taken drugs? Are you sure about that Adam? Lets not start lying now. Maybe you have now realised your stance couldn't be more hypocritical if it tried.

Im not refusing help fella, i am refusing to give YOU my details. The same way I would refuse to give The Chuckle brothers my name and address if they asked for it claiming they can help. I have seen your work and reputation and dont wish to be associated with you.

I don't need help to find a job, i am perfectly capable as I have told you.

Very confident Adam yes. Top footballers are out of work for certain periods too. It happens. Thought you would know this being in recruitment and all.

Then you have no idea what you are talking about.

If there are 20 jobs available and 20 unemployed people. Half the jobs are skilled and half the jobs are not. Half the people are skilled the other half are not.

If the 10 skilled people took the 10 unskilled jobs then the other 10 people remain unemployed and the 10 businesses suffer from understaffing.

Where as if the 10 unskilled jobs were given to the 10 unskilled people then the 10 skilled jobs would be there for the 10 skilled people to fill appropriately thus reducing unemployment to 0% and all companies have their workforce boosting the economy.

Simple economics.

What a nonsense thing to say. You were out of work when you were sacked as being a councillor. Got a job the next day did you? You are so thick it is frightening.

I am out of work because a school in Spain had its funding cut and the schools in my area currently don't have a position. Nothing to do with my superb CV or my ability to communicate with them
