MY VIEW/OPINION " WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON ? "

Maybe now we can at least put an end to the "we have the best squad in the division" nonsense. It should also end any talk of promotion and how the points return under slade worthy of a promotion chasing side.

We are an average mid table side that lacks pace, steel and creativity, clueless in organisation and defence, managed by a less than average manager and coached by even worse coaches.

Not an ideal combination and we will get what we deserve - nothing.

That description points to a team well below mid table.

I feel the performances have not justified the results of 2 points a game under Slade. This could all balance out over the festive season and the points average will drop to what the performances reflect. I feel we will drop below the mid table position but I do feel we have enough to avoid a relegation fight.

My fear is we might get complacent with that and drop further. Tan wants to streamline the club and will do that. He is putting faith in Slade bringing in cheap players. Tan is not bothered if we drop a league all two as he has the parachute payments to look forward to. Once they dry up then he will be gone. I just hope we are not in a league below when that happens.

What is so bizarre is that surely in our position you would recognise that with the right manager we would be competing at the top of this average division. The riches Tan craves are in the PL, so now was not the right time to replace Ole (quite rightly) with some bargain basement manager and Poundland coaches. He hasn't tried to protect his investment at all. It's like buying an expensive house then employing an odd job man to pull it down brick by brick and build a shed in it's place.

Protection for the back 4, creativity in the middle. Pace and movement off the ball. Adeyemi and Gunnar to break up the play leaving the others to hit quickly.

Many prem teams now use this formation, instead of the 442 which leaves the 2 centre midfielders over run.

Tan obviously thought that anyone could have done what Malky done and get the club up. Unfortunately that isn't the case

yeah because everyone was jumping down malky throat when he was doing the exact same thing, the points we got under slade suggest he's doing a good top despite poor performances, but people wanna critics slade but yet when malky was here and same thing was happening shit performances week in week out he was a legend



He's not doing a very good job at all. Alienating creative players as he doesn't know how to use them., We have not had more than 50% possession in a single game under him yet, not even when we played 10men. We don't retain possession, put players out of position....

Doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. (Definition of insanity) To not make a change after last weeks abysmal display was ludicrous. We lost to a team top of the league and away from home ,bournmouth will probably go up this season if they carry on there good form they are on ,at least we scored 3 goals away from home

We also conceded 5 goals and could have conceded a few more too - and 2 of our goals were down to 2 set piece deliveries from Whittingham who most people seem to want out of the side. I hate to think what the difference in wages and fees were between the 2 sides. We've become an expensive joke in this league playing in stupid coloured shirts, not much to be proud of at our club at e moment

Excatly, wasn't uit an issue for Tan when the fans were only singing Malkys name and when asked about it Tan said that he should be the one sang about because ANYONE could have got promoted with the funds he provided

Why do we have to pick holes in everything the club does. Maybe, just maybe the club played in white because they are launching a brand new white kit and what better way to launch a kit than to have a team actually wear. Just like any other club does when they launch kits.

I am against the rebrand as much as anybody but stop thinking everything the club does is a dog and a personal attack against the fans. most clubs have 3 kits and it was well publicised a 3rd kit was being launched imminently.

Why are the club launching a white kit to replace the blue away kit when the vast majority of fans want us to return to blue? And it wasn't white was it? It's White with a red trim when it could easily have been White with a blue trim. Of course it's another snub to the fans

Come on now Annis the football after the first half of the first season malky was appointed is far worse than we have seen under slade, I agree few matches under slade as been woeful to watch but the football under malky was miles worse but because we was grinding wins out nobody moaned only when we lost under him, slade is doing a far better job than most of us would of thought and you got to give that to him atleast

Look forward to away days against red/orange teams and then this with the white what a debacle. Didn't expect us to win this one but 5 goals Jesus... Connolly was just dire. On the plus side great to see kads come on and do what we know he can, really lifted us and he must start. Our fans were great today.

It seems strange to me that Slade referred to Real Madrid playing the same style as Cardiff (4-4-2) and then the very next game we play in white!!!
A very poor first half performance again today with the 'same as same as team' Slade always picks. The only refreshing selection today was Harris on the subs bench:and what a refreshing choice he was when he came on! Which only goes to prove to me that if Slade used other players in the squad such as Guerra, Burgstaller and Daehli etc he could freshen up and excite the team even more.
Will he do this? I doubt it.
