VERY WORRYING AND LACK OF TACTICS/GOALS IS GOING TO COST US

I thought daehli linked up well with fabio on left side against Huddersfield etc also guerra done well when he came on. So why can't his 442 include those 2 with 1 left wing and 1as 2nd striker? ?.?

Slade has tried to demonstrate his authority by benching our most famous player. This could back fire.

Players like Joe Ralls buy into him, he is the new boss and if i was him I would make it obvious that "I can be your man".

We have players from three different managers. Marshall and Whitts; Turner, Noone, Gunnar and Ole's lot. Slade would never have been in the company of championship illuminati like Whitts and Marshall forget a Brazilian international, a future England player and a Norwegian who could be anything !!!!!!

Our problem is the strikers are not scoring and don't look deadly. Its obvious that there is no chemistry between Macheda and ALF and i don't believe Macheda is championship class, which worries me as our manager might try to identify with him.

I can't recall Jones and Alf playing as a 442, but how long ago was it that Jones played with a partner ?

There's very little creativity or trying to go past players, its knock it up the middle and pick up the second ball or knock it wide right and hope le fondre gets on to it. No wonder why Lennon says its predictable, what did we say about DJ no plan B. I think were going to be in trouble and we got players who expect better tactics and plans, and a management team who can't supply it. We need to have competition for places Macheda and le fondre need to feel there places are not nailed on that also includes the rest of the midfield. There's talent in the squad get a management team that gets them believing in it.

Simple really, Slade is a very conservative old school manager. Brilliant but unpredictable playmakers and attacking fullbacks don't fit into how he sees football.
He did say something about Fabio after the Milwall game, something that sounded to me like he thought he could have done better in defence, then came the Bolton defeat and i guess Fabio was the fall guy for that performance. Be interesting to see if he keeps the same line up in the next game.
