you don't see how expensive players can be unfit? then you probably don't understand football management/coaching
expected from someone who believes EVERYTHING they read about Tan

go back to copy/pasting news articles mate

YOU need to go back and read this from the start - i have NEVER mentioned fitness in my OP -

PA - Asked the question which was as he said -
yes dont understand that part the players only played in half the games because of the changes, i was being perdantic we
desperately need manager who can motivate them :old:

I Am asking the question in my statement - HOW CAN PLAYERS BE NOT FIT TO PLAY - Which is NOT TAN's Fault

As for the copy and paste - You have been here 6 months - if you go back to my history of posts you will see why i stick to this usually way of posting - eg. ( before MM JOINED THE CLUB ) That far back .

Tan you have broken this once proud club and for that I hate your guts fella.

Completely agree with this. I have proudly supported through thick and thin for 55 Years but the end has come for me with this current circus. When this tyrant Tan took over he sadly setenced us to death by a thousand cuts. It is just a plaything for him and his son and I feel sorry for the managers he has brought in who are nothing but puppets who are supposed to carry out his wishes in player purchase, team selection etc etc...when they do not carry out his wishes then they suffer the consequences....Horrible man and as I see it continuing to support him just lengthes the pain. If you care for the club stay away and may be someone decent will buy it.

So I feel I have helped embarrass him in ways he hated. Against Chelsea when the whole stadium sang it Tan turned his back on us. He has been made to look a fool around the world and that was done by us Fans. Just give us some credit for the fight we have taken in the stadium. Never been a Cardiff fan but a fan of Welsh clubs. You will always be blue in your hearts but until Tan decides to leave the club, your soul will never be your own. Now is the time to take your club back!.

Hit the nail on the head, rewind a couple of months and remember how excited near enough everyone was. Now we are doing shit its tan out!

Fickle as f*ck

I have wanted Tan out since the morning I saw Gunnarson and Mason wearing red Puma kits sat in my inbox. He refused negotiation and compromise with us, completely disrespectful, oblivious and ignorant. I didn't quit then, I almost did, my mates did, but stuck at it with "fire and passion" in wanting him out of the club as there is a part of me that will support Cardiff City FC if Leighton James was manager and we played in Bacofoil.

But thousands went with it, theres the truth in your comment, and yes there was a new excitement, attention and quality to experience in the PL last season, but it still wasn't the same, and for me, even at its highest points I would have swopped it for blue, a new chairman, admin and a drop down a league or two and start again, hopefully with more say than ever before for US.

This is about an inconsiderate, incompetent chairman surrounded by yes men, not just the red or dead.

The red is as alien now as it was when it was first put on us. The truth is as a fanbase, we accepted it. There are a certain % who can say they didnt from the start but overall we did.

Where has chanting or embarrassing VT got you? Nowhere.

I do agree it would be nigh on impossible to get a blanket boycott (strangely enough they manage it in other Countries?) but it really is the only way to get the message through.

I have to say this is 100% the correct answer and goes someway to explaining the "lack of atmosphere" down the ground. Die hard CCFC fans stopped going. Of course a few remain and I can understand not wanting to give something up but people need to look at the bigger picture.

The only way to hit Tan is in his pocket. Boycott the club. You'll miss it in the short term but the reward will be worth it.

The "bigger picture" you talk about is that Cardiff City FC will survive Vincent Tan, just as it did Ridsdale (a Chairman some fans hated!), Sam Hammam (a Chairman some fans ended up hating!), The Kumar Brothers (owners some fans hated!), Rick Wright (a Chairman some fans ended up hating!), Tony Clemo (a Chairman/Owner some fans hated!), Kenton Utilities (Owners some fans hated!) and I'm sure there are some I've missed in that group!

Can you see a recurring theme in there????

Nukes makes some great points in his OP and I think you'll find he was one of the original opposers of the rebrand; he just chose NOT to walk away from the club like so many others did and he also made some very good (since proven to be true) observations in the earliest protest meetings! ;)

It's mildly amusing how so many of those people still feel the need to come on this Forum to pontificate on a subject they claim not to care about anymore, though! ;)

I'm just not sure that we would survive if Tan and his cash pulled out now. We'd definitely drop a league, possibly two...

Would it be worth it? Possibly. I'd certainly still be going if we were in league two... especially it we were in two in blue.

Who's claimed not to care? I'd argue those that have boycotted care the most.

The idea of someone who is willing to part with their money being opposed to the product they are buying is foreign to me.

I'll ask you the same question: Where has chanting or embarrassing Tan got you?

CCFC is in a bigger mess than it ever was under our previous owners.

I would disagree with the last part. Being hours from not existing at all anymore was a way bigger mess. At the moment we just have an team out of form and looking for a manager being the biggest problems.

We'd certainly 'survive' in some form and I'd still be there with you, but I would be worried about a competitive future and lose a lot of heart in the process, as I want us to be competitive in an increasingly closed marketplace!

Wake up and smell the coffee, fella! ;)

Cardiff City FC is in a damned sight better place now than it was a couple of years ago (rebrand apart) and NO, you are not someone who "cares more" just because you abandoned your so-called club; you simply made a choice that suited your agenda ;)

I can't actually fault you for that (as Ely Boy will concur) but I can have my own opinion that it was better to stay and support the team on the pitch, as I have done for several decades ;)

And for the record, I am not actually against the 'product' itself and never partook of the anti-tan chanting, as I feel it distracts from the game in hand. However, I certainly support the 19:27 thing and also wear blue to games, as they are more effective than any other form of protest to date ;)

The 'product' hasn't actually changed too much, as the last time I looked 11 guys representing the club I support still ran out and attempted (Bournemouth apart) to kick a ball into a net at the other end of the pitch to where they started!

I might not 'like' what Tan has done with regard to the rebrand and his ill-advised employment of Ole, but that won't force me to walk away as it did others

I've 'disliked' what other Chairmen/Owners have done in the past, but eventually I got over it because the club itself was more important to me than it obviously was to them!

We all have our opinions, which is why some walked away and some stayed. Each to their own in that respect, but it is my considered opinion that those who stayed have shown the biggest 'commitment' ever to Cardiff City FC

Nukes makes some great points in his OP and I think you'll find he was one of the original opposers of the rebrand; he just chose NOT to walk away from the club like so many others did and he also made some very good (since proven to be true) observations in the earliest protest meetings! ;)

It's mildly amusing how so many of those people still feel the need to come on this Forum to pontificate on a subject they claim not to care about anymore, though! ;)

We're facing serious financial difficulty if promotion is achieved this season. Read in to that whatever you like but the quote is from Tan himself. Added to the disasterous rebrand and various own goals off the pitch yeah I'd say we're in a worse position than ever.

Looking at these comments, I am guessing Sven has been watching this club over many years. Sitting in an almost empty stadium watching a club crippled with debt won't be that strange to him, or the many others who have followed City over the years. It's a fairly recent thing watching Cardiff in front of decent crowds, and not wondering whether we'll still be in business next season. I hate the red shirts, but at least I am watching championship football and not worrying if we are going to be wound up in the next few weeks. All I want for now is a decent manager, some players who will put in a bit of effort, and a return to blue. If our past history is anything to go by, there are going to be much worse times ahead than we are going through now.

Worse than that Annis, he has announced he was going to walk away due to what has happened lately. So much for him preaching about sticking with the club through thick and thin. Makes you wonder if these sort of fans were around in the old days like when we were in the dungeon league.

Knock it on the head you two. This is exactly what Tan and his cronies want a divided fan base.

If someone decides to stay away because of the rebrand that must be respected. If someone decides to continue going to promote the blue in one way or another that must be respected. If someone continues to go because the change of colour is no great deal to them then that must be respected. However those he have belittled or baited those in favour or not of the rebrand then no respect should be given to them.

Exactly, well said. People should be able to do as they choose... the only ones who should not be respected are those causing animosity. Go in blue, go in red, don't go at all... it's a personal choice. No need to have a pop at others for their personal choicess

Nukes makes some great points in his OP and I think you'll find he was one of the original opposers of the rebrand; he just chose NOT to walk away from the club like so many others did and he also made some very good (since proven to be true) observations in the earliest protest meetings! ;)

It's mildly amusing how so many of those people still feel the need to come on this Forum to pontificate on a subject they claim not to care about anymore, though! ;)

Don't kid yourself. Those that stayed were on a price freeze lets see what happens next year ;)

Obviously the rebrand isn't high on your agenda and the colour mustn't mean much but before long you'll be watching a club crippled with debt, playing in red with 6000 other hardy souls in a 3/4 empty stadium and the penny may drop

Obviously???? :o

you obviously don't read my posts properly, fella, that's for sure!

I am as against the rebrand as anyone, but I am pragmatic enough to know how/when to separate the issues involved

The rebrand IS a huge problem, but it is unlikely to be resolved, if ever, until Tan either changes his mind or moves on

The other 'issues' currently surrounding the club are no worse than (and in some ways a lot better) than we had in the not too distant past and need to be put into context of nearly not having a club to support at all under the previous regimes!

You chose to walk away, yet still want your say on how the club is run whilst pontificating to the remaining loyal supporters who continue to support their club (not yours anymore) through thick and thin!

Credit to them, but not to you (IMHO, of course!)
