Re: Tan scuppers Malkys Palace move!

How about this angle (just speculating, though): Tan has evidence that Malky and Moody had some serious, dodgy kickbacks on their signings, driving the transfer fees to the roof. Then for the best of the club, Tan decided not to let this into the public, but rather offered a clause in his agreement with Malky not to join a PL club for a period of, say, two years, AND at the same time voice an apology to the club he has robbed. Now, Malky, getting this huge opportunity with Palace still took his chances, and chose not to honour the agreement, thinking Tan was happy with just the humiliating apology. Tan then of course pulls the plug on him. Far fetched?

Because taking bungs might not be illegal, although it's highly unethical and against FA rules. Having said that, if this is true then Malky will almost certainly end up in court one way or another.

As I said, I don't think Tan wanted to pull the world's attention to the club's dirty laundry, but somewhere along the line Malky yet again made a bad judgement that forced Tan to put the foot down. But what do I know? Interesting days ahead though. The press is on it now, and I think it's all going to unfold shortly.

Jesus, your like a scratched record. Wait for things develop. Nobody knows what will happen in the forthcoming days. The police may, or may not, get involved. Who knows!?

Malky in U-turn! Mackay wants his own staff at Crystal Palace

MALKY MACKAY’s hopes of becoming the new manager of Crystal Palace hit the rocks last night after talks stalled.

Those you are referring to look like they have been betrayed more than acting dishonestly.

Why should they be ashamed, did they know anything about this before it was all released last night?

just bitterness from Tan. I can understand the vendetta regarding Acorn fee, but snooping on txt msgs between Moody & Malky is pathetic regardless of the dirt he uncovered

Exactly this!

I've defended Malky since the day he was sacked. But I can't find anymore excuses for him

financial irregularities they can go to jail for. IF there is proved to be none, then Malky will pay a high price for the email correspondences he had.

This isn't private messages. They where not professional... They Are scumbags by the look at the evidence so far...

Re: Tan scuppers Malkys Palace move!

While I accept that all we are discussing at the moment are allegations and not proof, I would like to ask Military Junta two questions.
Why isn't Malky strenuously denying any wrongdoing in the same way that a well known pop star did a week or so back? Mud sticks, and the longer he remains silent, the more the rumours will grow.
Why publicly apologise to someone who has just sacked you, and withdraw your compensation claim at the same time, which obviously has an immediate effect on your personal reputation.
We may never know the complete story, but something doesn't add up here.

Reports state that investigators were able to access Moody's property looking for missing documents relating to various player transfers. If you suspected that you had been caught for millions of pounds, wouldn't you do something about it?

For the transfer side, i reckon Moody and Malky thought "Hey, we got some naive owners here, we can make some money" and got caught.

Surprised at the racism part thou

Your reckon they didn't employee Malky as manager because of this.... He wasn't even employees then.

This goes a lot deeper obviously.... Mixed with Malky pathetic apology? And no job at celtic and Norwich? Some people just won't see it though.

What pathetic apology?

Fair comment, yes I definitely would, all a bit shocking this, made a rash comment on here without digesting what the hell has been going on. Bitterly disappointed if Malky was taking backhanders. As for the racism and sexism, it was naive of him to leave a trace of that, ruined his career regardless because of the silly childish emails.

Remember Mackay launched a £7.5million legal claim against the club (the CLUB, not Tan). In love and war...

Yes, silly and childish for sure. Still, speaking about your own players in a racist way. I don´t know. Just not what you expect from a leader. And besides, I don´t believe anyone would use such wording without there being some deep-felt antipathy. Unless he can find a job in Russia somewhere, I think Malky´s career is blown.
