Furthermore and even more shocking is that at a service station, of which I still have no idea the name, near Tewekesbury the bus pulled over to allow a break for the travelling supporters, who had been stuck in this metal box for the majority of the day. The illegal driver allowed for a 20 minute break. 22 minutes later I (17) and 6 other passengers under 17 return to where the bus was parked, only to see the double-decker WATTS Coach pull off the slip road down the motorway.

Friends of the other boys had tried to stop the driver, however they allegedly heard organiser Vince Alm say "Leave them." I hope this is not true, however it doesn't look like he has done a lot to help out 7 U17s who thought they were about to be stranded in England. Not only had we been left somewhere unknown, but all of us had left possessions on the coach, including wallets, phones, bags.

If you are going to make accusations on here about me and the supporters club please make sure you get your facts right;

Fact the driver was not an illegal driver;
fact; 6 under 17s were not left at the services you were put on a later coach that was going to cardiff
Fact; You were told how long we were stopping.

Yes I told the coach to leave because the driver hours were tight to get everyone dropped off before he would need to take a break for another 45 minutes before carrying on probably in the middle of nowhere a couple of miles from cardiff.

The decision was taken after I had shouted to everyone in the queue at Mc donalds that the coaches were leaving but you and your 5 other mates chose to stay in there whilst 4 of your other friends left the queue to get on the coach. Rather than inconvenience 77 other passengers who had abided by the rules and return to the coach on time without prompting, and with coach 6 still at the services you would still get home the coach departed.

The drivers are allowed to work a 15 hour shift but every 4 hours 30 minutes of driving they must take a 45 minute break. the driver hours were ok as he got on at monmouth at 1.30 allowing his shift to end at 6.30 am in the morning. Rather than prolong every one journey by an hour on the way home way take a short rest stop of 15 mins which allows enough time for the driver to finish dropping everyone off at Penarth, barry, llantwit major, and bridgend.

Please forward your complaints we will be more than happy to reply tto them and attached the supporters club code of Conduct.

Also as any of you won't be travelling with us anymore I will cancel those of you who have booked on for Coventry. Please pass the message on to them in case they have different view to you and still want to come.

I went with 2 other boys? Into WH Smiths. I didn't see you or hear a warning.

I and a other boys will be making complaints to both the supporters club and Watts coaches. I'm furious personally, as it was my first time on the supporters bus. It will now be my last.

One other thing you still owe the supporters club either £7 or £15 if you are not a full time student for your match ticket I was told you were 16 not 17 and the child s price ticket was for under 17s. feel free to either drop in the balance at the next home game or send a cheque?postal order to our PO Box when you write to us.

Cheers

I bought my match ticket at the stadium :/ can and will prove it to you. You may have me mixed up with the other group of boys.

Re: Supporters club bus DISGRACE

Sun Aug 10, 2014 7:19 pm

I was on this coach, upstairs. It was said not to queue up for Burgers etc as it was only a short 20 minute stop and they couldn't be brought back on the bus. Vince wasn't on our bus he was on a different bus. The Driver made the decision to leave the services short of people so that he wouldn't have to stop for half an hour just short of the last drop off at Bridgend after all of you kids had got off in Cardiff. We still had an hour and a half worth of drop offs on the bus left after you would have got off, and people seem to forget that. You wernt back in time, thats not CCSC or the Fault of Watts Coaches .
FYI. The bus did change drivers at Monmouth on the way to Blackburn.

Yes, I'm sure hundreds and hundreds of teenagers will now stop going to away games after this one incident (which turned out to be your fault) and will be missed terribly.

Correct you did and I followed you in there also shouting out to everyone in Smiths supporters and punters that the coaches were leaving, I know which three you are and also the three who stayed in the queue at Mc Donalds, I didn't mention this in my earlier reply to your post as to save you from further embarrassment, but as you have know brought it up I will answer it.

Re: Supporters club bus DISGRACE

There is one word I would never label the supporters club and that is a disgrace.

I got the upmost respect for what they do in always running coaches to City away games and going out of their way to look after fans, young and old.

If you were given a time and further warnings the coaches were leaving then I am sorry that was your decision to stay longer, the drivers sand organisers have a lot to contend with, without people who run late and I this instance deliberately so.

Probably the complete opposite. If your kept hanging around waiting for a small minority of kids who can't be bothered to get to the bus on time, you will soon get p***d off with the trips. Hopefully, you will make sure you are on time the same as everyone else has to be in future.

Makes you wonder why Vince, Carl and others bother when you got tossers like this little scrote mouthing off on a message board. People who are late paying, don't pay at all, late for wheels etc. Can't see how it is worth their while tbh.

Maximum respect for all you organisers.

No respect for you you little shit.

When I was 17 I use to go to away games in 2nd hand well worn tansit fans. We considered it lucky if we managed to get back home that weekend. many times the poor vans broke down leaving in the middle of nowhere.

Today these young ones want everything on a place, luxury air conditioned travel, 5 star service stations and they whinge about missing the time slot. These youngsters of today are turning out to be a right bunch of poofs.

Very True, we kept barry van hire in business,
when we went to york i was so stoned i had to but a pair of sunglasses to get past the stewards and police so they wouldn't see how wrecked i was.
and we snapped the key in the ignition on the way home.
i wish i was 20 odd again !!!

Did that not happen outside East Midland Airport.

No the services on M5 , the ones before strensham just outside Birmingham,, in the end the AA man came out and managed to get the remaining part of key out of the lock. :bluescarf:

I travelled up by car with my 12 yr old son and coincidentally stopped at the same services on the way back. Got there just after the buses so my son was waiting forever in the queue in the shop. I bought a Costa and was sat waiting for my son and witnessed Vince and another gent that generally runs the number 1 bus clearly go to the shop and the McDonald's que to tell people the coaches were going.
Hence my son had lot less of a wait.
People were 100% told the buses were leaving. Witnessed them telling people.
