Cracking loan signing for Bolton. Hasn't done much for us yet as hasn't been given a chance so until he does he will be in the tbd category. Plus it was 3 in 10 games for Bolton.

I do think and hope he will be amazing however.

If and I say IF the sell on clause is 50% then it will be 50% over and above what we paid, so if we bought him for £2m then brum would get £2m, but take it from me we have not got a 50% sell on clause, it is nearer 25% which means brum would get £1M

Sell on clauses are always on the profits not the whole amount, so yes that's a fact.

Heavy sell on clause is fact enough! heavy means large? especially for what was avarage player at time, normal clauses are around 10% unless talented youngster who possibly makes the big time later.

Birmingham City transfer news: Blues will pick up £800,000 from sale of Jordon Mutch

Birmingham City stand to gain around £800,000 from the sale of Jordon Mutch.

Blues are entitled to a 20 per cent cut of any profit Cardiff City make on the midfielder.

That was the sell-on clause inserted when Mutch was sold by Blues to the Welsh side in 2012 for around £2 million.

Mutch completed his £6 million switch to QPR on Tuesday, triggering the St Andrew’s cash injection.

Mutch came through the Blues Academy ranks after signing from Derby County as a schoolboy.

His sale by Blues, for a relatively small sum, and that of others around the time, was required to keep the club afloat.

And, sadly, there has been no change in that approach at St Andrew’s because of the parent company mess.

Other Academy stars Jack Butland and Nathan Redmond were cherry-picked by opportunist clubs for the same reason.

And now Tom Adeyemi is on his way to Cardiff, having demanded a transfer.

Blues are to receive in excess of £1 million for Adeyemi.

Manager Lee Clark, it is expected, will be given some funds to find a replacement for Adeyemi.

But it is unrealistic to believe that all the Mutch and Adeyemi money will go towards a new player, or new players.

Malky signed Mutch for up to £2m (allegedly,depending on appearances/promotion etc), and sold for £6m so about a £3m profit on transfer.
He has been replaced for £1m approx so the club have a profit of £2m. Good business.
