You all need to get a life if there wasn't a rebrand with the colour of the shirts you all would have been how great it looked
Whatever the club does you will find fault with no matter what
If you don't like it don't go to the matches and stay at home
At the end of the day I want promotion back to the premier and will throw my all to supporting city to get that
The colour of the shirts will not change this season so wait until we are back in the premier league and then see what Vincent does

The only thing different I would have liked to have seen on the new stand is a seamless integration between the rooflines of new and old stands. Im sure something could have been done so that the roofline was a continuous one, even if it had been along the lines of angled joining pieces.

its due to fact stand already had planning permision in its present form, so unable to change design or would have needed new planning permision! dont forget other two ajoining stands can be changed in same way. as in original build it was designed to expand easily.

The only thing I don't like is the ayatollah on it. It looks bad. Although I do think it's a good idea, just hasn't been done that well

Yes I may well be older than you, but I'm no dinosaur. I've accepted that as a club we have to move with the times or die. It really is as simple as that. It's dog eat dog in today's sporting world. There's no room for sentiment. It's survival of the fittest, it really is a case of being compared to evolution. Those who adapt to the environment, survive. Those who don't, become extinct. Do you REALLY think that fan's bluster is going to have an impact? Do you or anyone you know have a spare 15 million quid knocking about under the mattress, so that you can buy City and turn it blue again?

Tradition has it's place - It used to be a tradition that I would help my folks put up the christmas decorations when I was younger, but I am older now and my father died, so that tradition ended.

Jumanji - absolutely right. Time and circumstances marches on. Whatever happens though we do not lose (or disrespect) our history and the current events are simply new history being written. We are still Cardiff City FC and I really don't see any prospect of that changing.

Nobody would have picked red seats but the stand does add something to our flat pack stadium style.hopefully one day soon the seats will be full of blue clad vociferous supporters but in the meantime take it for what it is an impressive extension to our ground with seats that can be changed and the ayatollah design in the future. Don't buy any of this if you go to the games or sit in a red seat you endorse the re brand shit and frankly it's been done to death. Hate the re brand and what it's done to our fan base but love watching my team more, even if its in a alien colour and shitty badge.

No, the complaint wasn't about the use of the phrase "get a grip" - one I'm happy to use regularly.

The question was why should someone who wants to see Cardiff in blue be told to get a grip? As wanting to see Cardiff in blue is a perfectly acceptable thing to want.

What I was pointing our to you is that the use of that phrase may not be overtly offensive, but it is a very personal phrase to use, as it demeans someone's stance. To illustrate this, I used it towards you, and you immediately replied. Thanks for proving my point.

It's all about context.

The new stand is not embarrassing, it is something to be proud of. The rebrand is embarrassing but people need to differentiate.

You wouldn't call the team embarrassing over the last few years purely because they wear a red shirt.

Focus your anger on getting the shirt back to blue instead of going off on things we cannot affect every time a picture appears showing progression.
