Get off his back and try supporting the efforts he is making behind the scenes. His success may be 'limited' nowadays, but that won't be for the sake of him trying and I would rather have him in there than not!
I agree with you that Borley has little power. That currently rests with one man and, of course, the fans if they were to get themselves really well organised... In a previous thread I've also acknowledged the good work that Steve Borley did at the club previously - particularly when no one else was willing to dip their hand in their pocket.
However, to say Borley hasn't covered himself in glory over the past 2 years is a massive understatement. He's created fear, has baited fans and frequently taken ordinary supporters for total mugs. He was a guy that I had a huge amount of respect for. I'm afraid that disappeared a long time ago. Currently, he's part of the problem, not the solution.

Can appreciate your sentiments, but (honestly) do you KNOW what Steve does behind the scenes??![]()
I don't, but I'm prepared to believe he is doing his best under very trying conditions. Steve is as big a Cardiff City FC fan as anyone I know and in no way would harm the long-term future of the club for short-termism![]()
I think Steve is playing a slightly longer game here and, like me, sees Vincent Tan as a temporary (if not important) part of the Cardiff City FC story

Come off it Sven. His baiting has lost him the respect he has had. If the guy had an ounce of sense he would have stayed away from that but no he has thrived on it.

I have never defended his behaviour on twitter ian and have told him so. Just think it's ironic that people on here accusing him of making money out of the club when this forum, the forum coaches and individuals selling shirts are all making profit off the back of the football club, tan and the rebrand.
Hypocritical behaviour in my opinion

I have a real bug bear for some of the Cardiff directors who have got on the rebrand wagon to profit for themselves. Isaacs being the worse one of the lot but Steve has done himself no favours with his baiting and when people accuse him of gaining likle Isaac well he only has himself to blame.

Second, we will really struggle this time to fill the stadium next season.
You're right Annis. There's a large percentage of fans that were happy to accept red to get their taste of the Premier League (each to their own) but now that we've experienced the Premier League people are starting to fight it more. It's a shame our fans have been so passive about it until now.

I'd like to see all of the present boardroom incumbents (inc Borley) and the owner leave the club. As mentioned previously I had the utmost respect for SB but that ceased to be the case about two years ago and as far as I'm concerned he's continued to blot his copybook in the intervening period.
I don't expect everybody (or anybody, for that matter!) will agree with me but that is how I see it.
