Simple question: What does anyone GENUINELY believe Steve Borley can do anything other than do his best to 'influence' Vincent Tan's decision-making from within the Boardroom????

My own guess is "very little" other than an opportunity to 'suggest and guide' before Vicent Tan (as any other business owner would) does what he sees fit, whether others agree with it or not

Steve Borley has done miracles for Cardiff city FC over many years and there are IMHO opinion only one or two that can (perhaps) even remotely claim to be "bigger" supporters of Cardiff City FC than him

Get off his back and try supporting the efforts he is making behind the scenes. His success may be 'limited' nowadays, but that won't be for the sake of him trying and I would rather have him in there than not!

I agree with you that Borley has little power. That currently rests with one man and, of course, the fans if they were to get themselves really well organised... So if Borley was to quit the boardroom, who do you think would replace him and do you think that'll be a good thing?

I have a real bug bear for some of the Cardiff directors who have got on the rebrand wagon to profit for themselves. Isaacs being the worse one of the lot but Steve has done himself no favours with his baiting and when people accuse him of gaining likle Isaac well he only has himself to blame.

Two different directors ian issacs was the one lending the club money at 20% interest and the one who got in tans ear about sacking Malky last summer because he felt that he did not have enough of a part in the promotion celebrations. Steve for all his twitter faults at least does work for the club unpaid and looks after the major projects without charging consultancy fees.

Some people on this thread are unbelievable and ungreatfull borley kept Cardiff city alive when others in Cardiff couldn't be bothered ,he's a Cardiff city fan ,it's good that we have him on the board

If we are at the top of the league next season no one will give a shit about the colour of the seats ,the stadium will be full ,just like the season we went up

You're right Annis. There's a large percentage of fans that were happy to accept red to get their taste of the Premier League (each to their own) but now that we've experienced the Premier League people are starting to fight it more. It's a shame our fans have been so passive about it until now.

I'd like to see all of the present boardroom incumbents (inc Borley) and the owner leave the club. As mentioned previously I had the utmost respect for SB but that ceased to be the case about two years ago and as far as I'm concerned he's continued to blot his copybook in the intervening period.

I don't expect everybody (or anybody, for that matter!) will agree with me but that is how I see it.

Has Steve Borley been '"baiting" or been "baited"?

I tend to think he has made the odd mistake and over reacted occasionally in the face of some fierce attacks by Cardiff City fans who are most certainly NOT ITK a lot of the time

He has certainly baiting several City fans & mocking those who wish for a return to the clubs true identity.

Sadly, it does him no favours & fans like myself who have been the target of his baiting end up with far less respect for him than before. A shame really.

Personally, I think he should either shut down that twitter account, or stop winding up fans.
