Just enjoy it,it promises to be a great world cup

What planet do these English hating neanderthals live on I wonder. Swansea/Cardiff fans are supporting a Welsh based English league team and if they really loved Wales that much then surely they would support a Welsh premier league side. Both squads have way more Englishmen involved than Welshmen. I won't be support England at this world cup, far from it but I wish them all the best and should they get to the final I wouldn't care if they won it or not. If we won the world cup in '66 or any other time for that matter I would like to think that we still talked about it today, off course we would.

I live in England and my kids were born here, but I won't be supporting Hodgson, Rooney etc. I look forward to Wales getting to the Euros.

The English are usually bewildered when you tell them you don't support Eng-erland. They don't get it.

Listen to the BBC, especially Five Live, and they talk about England as 'the national team'. They forget that the Welsh, Scots and Northern Irish have their own national teams.

Since48:does that mean all english fans should be supporting some other nations team?? Most of the top teams only contain a minority of"english" players,I dont get your point on that one! And neanderthals? Some poster gets all irate, because the majority of replies do not agree? I support the team who represents my home city,ie Cardiff.I will enjoy the tournament, however will not be supporting anyone, england included,as I am welsh, and before the replies of well we are shit come flooding in,I am a realist, and as we are a tiny nation, even in comparison to england,I am not too disheartened when we never qualify,I waited all my life to see city in the top flight, whats a few more years, waiting for Wales to qualify??

I'm not supporting England at the World Cup, i'm pretty indifferent to them. What I don't get is people who hate England and the English yet are happy to cheer them on when they play in our colours also half our national team are English born.

for once I agree with you, old guard... ;)
'Hatred' is stupid anyways, it would be more 'dislike', as I don't hate other clubs, I dislike a few tho, but hate is such a strong word and a strong feeling. I 'hate' people who would harm my family, but I don't 'hate' the Jacks for example... altho they don't make it easy sometimes...
