It is an assumption, I am afraid. He also said at the time that he would also transfer debt to equity & he hasn't done that either.

He also said that the club would reverse the plan originally, knowing full well that the club couldn't, as the colours had already been confirmed by the FA and the date had passed.

I never wanted a refund. Just because it is YOUR opinion that we should have done that, doesn't mean I have to agree with it. :thumbright:

I tried to debate with you, but you cannot do it. Shame.

My stance is this, blue and whatever, I don't want or need the money that's my point. I admire yours because you are sticking to your principles as I would mine if the club slid down the divisions again no matter how far. I will never simply boycott as a protest, that's just cutting off your nose to spite your face but if it gets to the point where I don 't feel I want to be part of it then I will go and others will just take my seat and nobody will care, I get that. We all have different tolerance levels but whole I still believe there is hope and like minded people I won't let go. Good luck with your stance But I hope it doesn't become the majority one. The tragedy is that we are here having this debate and that can only be blamed on one man ?!

its a bit more than just my opinion....he was assured everyone was fine......18,000 bought STs...a handful wanted refunds and there were no protests.................so Tan is suppose to deduce everyone is un happy because you have a blue shirt on?
tbh..the early days of the rebrand, quite a few red shirts were bought and worn..........
debt to equity.......waw....he did say he would convert debts to equity yes..........not the current debt tho..........

Yes, debt to equity. The one reason many were looking to put up with his horrific rebrand.

He also said a year later that the club would be debt free. Well, if he does as he says, the club will be in 100 million of debt after his conversion.

That's frighteningly high for a championship club. He is STILL putting money in every month, which means the debt it only going to grow.

I cannot fathom how anyone can trust this man, never mind suggest that he is making our long term future look bright. In my opinion, it's looking almost as horrific as his red shirts.

i have worn blue every single game since rebrand....my initial reaction to the rebrand was horror......but that didnt seem to be the line of our fan base in general.....meetings were had, letters written,e mails sent, and people queued up to get behind the investment...............my take is.....you,i,and anyone else that hated it,and didnt want the money then should have done something then........not after he spent his cash in good faith......i believe i am in a huge majority of blues that care already......blues that have no answers just shout tan out?.........dont make sense, and most people have sense.........

i assume that when he came here the investment he had in mind was nowhere near what was required.....the debt is his..it would frighten anyone if there were 3rd parties involved, but there are not........as long as he owns this club,he is unlikely to chase himself for money thats impossible to pay back by himself............and thats where courts, bailiffs, admin comes in....when one party is chasing payments and quite simply the other party can not pay it.............i do find it disturbing that those that are most frightened by the debts..or at least the ones that say they are,are those that push the hardest for him to leave.............at the moment there is zero chance this club will go to court,be in admin, get deducted points,or fold.....what is wrong with people..ive lived a lifetime of that......

He rebrand was a bitter pill to swallow made a little sweater by his promise of a debt free and stable club... You go on about fans keeping to their side of the "deal" and how you're a better man for doing so (??) yet you defend Tan every chance you can, when he doesn't do what you are telling everyone else to do (stick to their side of the "deal").

What irony.

im just being fair Barry............if it was his intention to convert debt to equity at say 50mill........but as events rolled on the club required more and more ploughed in on a monthly basis..........whats the point.....truth had he converted say 50mil 2 years ago, you and your mates would just be looking for something else to hang on him......and id defend you if anyone was treating you totally unfairly too............he has put a 140 million pounds in.......i cant even imagine howthat much money would look like......and he hasnt kept to the deal?...........he hasnt asked for one penny back.......hasnt charged interest........talk is cheap, this fella has believed in my club more than anyone ever has,,,,,and put his money in....yes loaned a lot of it.....but who is responsible for paying the loan back?....im not,are you?.......as for me being better......i havent said that....you read and came to the conclusion that a man of his word..that sticks to his word......is better than you..........
