Is it the "team" that you support or the "club"? They are two completely different entities. The answer is probably both, and rightly so, but which one is fundamental and of paramount importance?
It is the CLUB that needs fighting for - not the team. The team are an irrelevance when it comes to the main issue, teams will come and go and change every year as they always have done. The club needs the attention and if that neglects the team then so what? Most of that side probably wont be Cardiff players in 2 years time anyway.
Its the mantra we took on when ousting Petty. I find it funny people saying "will we ramp up the protest ir will it die down?" - the protest die down?! Its for 60 seconds per match for gods sake.
The team took a backseat while we fought for the club. We barely watched the game, 105 minute non stop chanting, even through half time. The club was our sole and only focus. Far too many people wanting to have their cake an eat it. Participate
into the token 60 second scarf raising so everyone can take a pretty photo to prove they are doing something.... Then 99% of the day supporting tans creation in the hope his crippling cash loans that are killing the club can take you on yet another unsustainable debt riddled glory season in the prem.
It seems the club is fought for less than 1% of your match day time (barring the odd fleeting chant), the rest is dedicated to the mercenaries on the pitch. I think that is madness.
It was about 12 Very good supporters and a carrier bag containing £22,000 that got rid of Petty. Are you suggesting Tan will accept that?
Not really. Petty was onto a good thing, he bought the club for a quid and all he needed to do was facilitate the liquidation of the club and would profit any excess. He sold for a reason. And that was us as supporters, thats well documented.
Tan, if forced to leave will sell assets and keep income equivalent to what he has put in. In that sense it doesnt make a difference if it was £1 div 3 swansea or a £100m championship cardiff - if the end game is they get their money back then there is no difference at all.

Our situation is nothing like you lot had with Petty. It was better to go under without Petty than with him. Yes the trust did well but thanks to local and outside generosity and no deduction of points you survived.
Of course a huge majority support blue but also a major majority support Tan. They don't want him gone. Don't take this message board as the barometer. Your ever patronising attitude is a little tedious so duck off we don't need you lot to put a quid in the pot. Unlike you lot we have pride. Remaining the only club in Wales free of going to the wall means so much more to us than you. A club with a history of hand outs chaired by a man with a history of debt in a ground owned by the ratepayers. Offer us advice you must be mad.

a proud history of paying back money? You do realise you have just borrowed £150m you cannot pay back which sarted from the club not being able to pay the tax man, mere months later - getting someone else to pay Sam Hammam significantly less than what he was owed to settle it because the club couldnt afford to?
![]()
We are currently chaired by arguably the best chairman in britain that has not loaned anything the club cannot afford to pay back![]()
But back to you - as a result of your fans actions you now play in red. That doesnt tell me that you dont need outside advice

That is not a true statement though, Mel Nurse bought the debt of £801,000 from Ninth floor for £100,000 but he did not lead the consortium as you state,
If you read Morgans statement He said he sold to them because, "The taxman was due to come into the Vetch the next day to seize assets, or are you calling him a lier
The trust had a total of 600 members at the time and according to their report the march from Castle square to the Vetch Field attracted up to 2000 supporters, You were very critical of the 4000 that we had for our march, so your suggestion that we are not as active as Swansea is way of the mark.

The figures mentioned above are from the People who were at the Cardiff Hotel on the night he handed over Swansea City.
Although Quite a few supporters took a lot of time and personal financial loss it was in no way like Roathie is trying to make out.

Mel nurse DID lead the consortium and it was his debt purchase from 9th floor that was instrumental. In fact ive posted the minutes from the meeting on here if you would like to do some digging.
We had a match going attendance of 4000 at the time and over 50% of that marched against petty. It was more like 75%.
Your march was pathetic because you have a match going crowd of 27,000 and a mere 4,000 turned up even though it was hundreds of yards away from the match.... Not to mention it took 2 years even for that![]()
So id suggest its bang on the money in fact which many many cardiff fans themselves have also recognised.
