The most goals Carrick has scored in one Premiership season is 4. Mutch has nearly doubled that in his first ever Premiership season in a bottom of the league team. Words fail me how you can't grasp that simple, clear point.
Mutch has already got more goals and assists in his one Premiership season for a bottom of the league team than Carrick has managed in his whole career by the way.

However all this Malky stuff is really really grating on me, he just cant seem to let the thing go

Ah, but that's not what you said, was it?

How in any way is that more goals?!![]()
Exactly my point. Words fail me.

That's exactly what I've said and you've just highlighted that. I will say it again in more simple English. Mutch has got more goals in his one Premiership season for a bottom of a league Premiership team than Carrick has managed per season in his whole Premiership career. I would ask if you understand now but you probably won't!

I agree with you in wanting long term stability over short term success - what fan wouldn't - and any other manager with a good long term philosophy given time would be welcome, but to have DJ back would be a MASSIVE backwards step. He had 6 years with us and we failed at the final hurdle many times. When fans say they'd welcome him back, to me that just says they'd be happy with another ten years of 'just doing alright' - mediocrity and under achievement, with a few away days to places like Barnsley; a mentality I cannot understand.
This is the whopper thread not the post an essay thread.
