If someone comes in and offers a few million, there is nothing Solskjaer can do about it, just like there is nothing Monk can do about a £30m bid for Bony.

You think Daeli would prefer to stay in the championship?![]()
Of course it is up to him whether he goes or not, but to suggest it is down to Solskjaer is just incredible. Tan will take the cash without question whether Solskjaer likes it or not - the rest is down to Daeli.
But to suggest you would get £20m is lunacy. Even £8m is lunacy for Gods sake

I have no idea what he wants, other that he have made a strong statement working with Solskjaer the last 4 years.
And like you suggest Tan would decide his future is silly talk, just like Bony is worth 30 mill, and Daelhi is not worth 8.

He hasn't worked with solskjaer for 4 years. According to wiki solskjaer left united in 2011. Daehli joined united academy in 2011. In actual fact he has only worked with solskjaer since last summer when he went to Molde.

True, if you look at when he signed pro contract. But not if you look at his training days before signing a youth contract at the age 15. But you are right, Solskjaer have not run his career day to day for 4 years. Still made a strong statement though

I hope he stays but i am afraid if we go down PL clubs will come after him and then its up to him, not OGS or anyone else. They aren't gonna force him to come down with them if he wants to leave. He is like any other player. Cardiff would be best advised to make it attractive for him to stay next season.

I dont need to do any research. If Daelhi wants to go - he goes. If Tan wants him to go - Solskjaer has no say.
And whoever wants to go... You aint getting £20m or even a third of that, of that I can assure you.
Once again I invite you to lay a wager
I said we could get maybe 5-8 mill this summer, which would be a stupid sale. Like I tried, but failed to get through to you, is that he is worth more to us. That is chasing the clubs ambitions.Sat May 03, 2014 11:54 am

I said we could get maybe 5-8 mill this summer, which would be a stupid sale. Like I tried, but failed to get through to you, is that he is worth more to us. That is chasing the clubs ambitions.
and like I tried and failed to get through to you is that there is no "us". There is a Vincent Tan. If he is looking to sell players to repay his loans then he will sell, including Daelhi. The fact he may be worth more in the future for the new owners will be of little interest to him.
Your point on Tan making a quick buck is silly talk by two arguments. It goes against the clubs ambitions and the parties invested in Daelhi since he was a kid. Did you think Cardiff bought him for 1 million with no strings attached? And Cheetah is spot on, Solskjaer is the one guiding his career, not Tan.
it is not silly talk at all, it is not a quick buck he has been owner for years. There comes a point where investment becomes risky, that point is when assets outweigh the value of the clubs assets rendering any further investments "unsecured loans".
The clubs ambitions are to make Tan money. The club does not have a brain, the club is simply a name and the owner of that name is vincent tan. It'll sink in soon.
The people "guiding" daelhi's career have absolutely no say what so ever in if Tan wants to sell. If I stuck by my boss when I was 19 then is still be working in a bar - however people realise they are better than their bosses (if they are) and move on.

How much of Daelhi do you think Tan owns? 100% ? Daelhi manage his own career with advice of Solskjaer and Solbakken, end of!

Yes, Tan is the owner of CCFC . Ole is the manager and in charge of football. Daelhi is a CCFC player ( with strong ties to Ole).
If Daelhi wants to play for us, Ole wants him to play for us, and if Tan like O mighty Roathie suggest, doesn't honour that agreement, he can just take the 5 mill and pocket it. Doesn't work like that. It can in theory, which o mighty pray on
