Take it as you wish Carps.

This season he has the same points to game ratio as our most successful ever manager achieved with this squad.

Thats impressive for a fledgling like Monk. Great signs.

Its like saying Messi is good so Welbeck must be too.

They are completely different people.

4 PL games? How does his first 4 games compare to laudrups first 4 PL games?

Makes no difference. The most accurate thing we can go on is judging their complete tenure and not just parts of them, as parts of them can be manipulated. Im going on every game they have ever managed Swansea in the Prem.

Bump! :laughing6:

Looks like European domination and a top 10 finish will have to be put on the back burner then?

Monk has the worst points to game ratio of any manager to manage the swans in the PL.
Deal with it

He has equalled this seasons record of our most successful manager in our history, thats a fact.

It also makes us pretty safe and you floundering due to the emphatic 3-0 win and the allowed 2-1 defeat to WBA. Monk played a blinder :laughing6:

Deal with it. :laughing6:

Seems that way, well unless Kenwyn Jones turns into a goal machine. There is always next decade :D

So he is the worst points:game ratio PL manager you've had then?
It's like you've argued with yourself in the same thread! Very revealing indeed :laughing5:

Likewise

You said it was irrelevant, now you are wanting to discuss it. Equally as revealing considering it was you who decided to bring it up for the second time

However he does have 5 points in 5 games which is 38 points per season pro rata which is enough to stay up comfortably this year by the looks of it and also just the same as our most successful manager in our history could achieve this year. :thumbright:

So is that the worst points:game ratio for any swans PL manager?

Re: Bubbles bursting...complete domination

So we've gone from saying how he's got the best ratio for any Swansea manager in the prem, to saying it's totally irrelevant?

Why was it continually mentioned in the first place, if it's irrelevant?

Carpe said it was irrelevant and then alluded to the fact it now wasn't as he wanted to discuss it. I then took his lead and did the same.

Early days but his record so far is fine. The football is a vast improvement (apart from a couple of second halfs) hes on for a point a game which is how we have been going for most of this season. But we are now at least showing signs of the old Swansea.

Fair enough. Very few jacks share your optimism though. Can see you getting a permanent manager in next season of a better standard than Monk, if you stay up.

Same as Laudrups this season and Laudrup is one of our most successful manager of all time. Very good signs indeed. :thumbright:

I wasn't after a discussion, merely getting you to admit he has the worst record. For you to admit its irrelevant means I was right in the first place. Yet again

Deal with it :laughing6:

Most jacks didnt think we would get promoted either, or stay up for that matter. I have not once considered ourselves in a relegation scrap this season. It is quite possible we only need 3 points out of our next 9 games to be safe, thats how safe I see it.

2 tricky games coming up and then its 7 winnable ones to pick up a win.

Monk is earmarked for the long term whether they will want to stick with him to continue into next or appoint him as head coach until a future date I dont know. Koeman wants to be boss which is a oretty good option, think he may be same style as Laudrup though.

by you asking it means you are looking for relevance in the answer - meaning I was indeed correct in the first place. Monk has 5 from 5 which if continued will keep us up comfortably on 38 points.

For you to be correct monk has to have the best points:games ratio of any swans PL manager over the whole of their tenure. Does he?

It's a very simple question answerable by "yes" or "no"

PS I don't like tea.

no, for me to be correct it must be agreed that it is relevant. Because at the time of posting it was a fact.

I've not changed my stance. But by your logic monk is now the worst PL manager the swans had ever had.
Fact.

Re: Bubbles bursting...complete domination

And by your logic, that statement is then inaccurate due to the stat being irrelevant. :laughing6:

Oh, fact.

I grasp it entirely. If you agreed with my notion initially then you would be within your conversational rights to now discuss it after the WBA game. You however said it was irrelevant and dismissed it.

To then wish to discuss it after the fact is also now a bit pointless.

Litigants is the word they use to describe that :laughing6:
