Jesus Christ, talk about dividing the fan base, I now understand why the fan base is being split. We support Cardiff City FC, not Malky Mackay FC. What he did, good or bad, is in the past and we must now focus on, and support our current manager instead of wanking over old memories of an average manager who made us feel good when he put his fist in the air.

Annis, what do you hope yo achieve by constantly spouting all this Malky bollocks?

Why am I talking about Malky once again, because many on here, keep attacking his reign as City manager and Tan keeps talking about Malky to the media every couple of weeks.

Remember you all said all u wanted in the first season was Premiership survival and that was all.

Annis, why is it ok for you to force your beliefs on us that Malky would have kept us up! Many of us believe otherwise, its our opinion and what's wrong with that? You should also have rephrased your statement to read many not all of us

Well in my 41 consecutive seasons of following City.

Eddie Mays years were my best along with Malkys, despite the despicable rebrand, Malky got the fans and the club close again after DJ had distanced the fans from the club. Malky put passion back in to our club.

Some of the football was dire last year. Do you not remember us calling on him to change things as we were starting to fear not making it and it was only through injury he was forced to play Kim and we never looked back. Yes it was good to have a fist pumping manager after Jones but there are many managers out there as passionate as Malky and it doesn't make a manager a good manager

I saw City play Liverpool in the Carling Cup Final and draw with them 2-2, one of the teams I hated as a child as many in South Wales supported them instead of City.
As I walked away from Wembley that day, my daughter said to me " Daddy we never lost, we drew with Liverpool at Wembley , what you always dreamt off " that I will rem for ever.

Arguably better achievements under Jones getting to Wembley for a FA Cup Final and the Play Offs. Meant more to me than a League Cup Final. A great performance in the Final sure but a pretty easy route to it

Malky won the Championship, but never just won it, he ran away with it.
Leicester City had big money. many before have and failed.

Many believe it was mainly due to Tan's money. Malky is good at defensive football and that certainly helped as he clearly has no interest in scoring goals (how many did our top scorer get again last year and again this year) It nearly cost us however until he was forced into a new formation through injury in the last 10 games. Also don't forget how badly the other teams chasing promotion fared during those games. It was amazing to most that we weren't caught

Cardiff City, a Premier League Club  Malky beat Manchester City at that moment in time they were the top club in Britain. Malky drew with the great Man United and beat the Jacks in our first ever top flight football. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Great memories but Man City remember couldn't win away for toffee at the start of the season and lost to most of the bottom teams away back then. Man Utd have had their worst ever seasons in recent history and the Jacks are in a relegation battle this year.

Oops Malky made a terrible mistake and signed Cornelius, contract written up and signed off by Simon Lim, terrible buy I agree, Oops but Ole has always admired Cornelius as well. I forgot Malky when u won promotion, u brought up to £160 mill in to our club, forgotten by many.

This constant blaming Lim and Tan for Cornelius and not Malky or Moody who as we all know scouted the player annoys most of us Annis. We all know Lim and Tan know bugger all about the game, Tan even admitted it in his recent interview, but Malky and Moody were trusted and they let us all down selecting him as our main striking hope going into our maiden season in the big league. It's cost us big time and its the reason we will go down. What makes you think if Ole ws in charge last summer that he would have wasted so much of our budget on a young striker like Cornelius, even if he thought he had a bright future in the game. Sorry Annis, as much as you want to believe it, Malky didn't win us promotion on his own so didn't bring £160 million into our club

Yet Tan who has stripped us of our identity, pride and passion and lent our club £150 mill, but not done as promised changed to shares is still loved by some.

Yes he did strip us of our blue shirt, our recent and longest associated identity but not our original identity. Not sure about pride and passion, it all depends on what sort of fan you are surely. If you have lost your pride and passion that's down to the individual. I am still proud and have passion for Cardiff City and know many others who show it during games, admittedly some do not. As far as the debt to share conversion is concerned has he left the club yet? I believe he will do it, it makes sense all around but wouldn't be surprised with all this negativity around towards him that he tells us all f**k off

Malky our fans loved you a year ago, u made mistakes and now some now want to hang u, short memories Hmm.

I wanted him gone because in my opinion he mucked up what should have been my greatest year in football by signing average players at a huge cost to my beloved club and failing to address our biggest problem from last year, having no bloody decent strikers

' Malky in less than 3 years '

Carling Cup Finalists drawing with Liverpool
Play off Finalists
Runaway Champion of the Championship.
First time ever in the Premier League and we were looking good until Tan interfered.

THANK YOU Malky , to me your our greatest City manager in my time. :ayatollah:

Its your opinion and your welcome to it. As you can imagine I totally disagree. To you success is all important. For me playing attractive football comes first and then success. Eddie May will always be a greater manager in my eyes than Malky for what he was able to achieve on the budget he was given playing the football I loved to turn up to watch

:ayatollah: :ayatollah: Should we now all rally behind Ole of course we should, he is Cardiff City's manager and no matter what our opinions are, once the day of the match comes,we must support Ole and our players right up and till May 2014. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

This!!

I remember playing on a Tuesday night against Grimsby (I think?) and I vividly recall the "Eddie May's Barmy Army" being chanted for almost the entire second half while banging the corrugated iron at the back of the bob bank. The whole stand was rocking.

I just posted this on another thread, it seems apt to reply to your bollocks with the same reply:

Trying to justify the way Malky spent 50m for a club our size in the summer, as "even Fergie and Mourinho make mistakes" is just laughable.

Fergie and Mourinho can offset any transfers that dont work out with medels on the table. Comparing a club our size and with our ambitions, to that of a club ten times the size, is just plain daft.

The way Malky spent his budget in the summer wasnt a "mistake" it was crazy. One senior pro, Medel, One player with prem experience, Odemwingie who he played out of position, 2 prospects Caulker and Cornelius, of which one was absolute dogshite and was at one point (until they signed Medel and Odemwingie) the highest paid player at the football club!!!!!

We already had 2 right backs, he signed another 2, none of them better than what we already had, and bombed one out straight away, and failed to sign a left back to cover one of the worst players in the promoted squad!!!

Didnt raise the bar one bit on a strikeforce that was averaging barely a goal a game in the Championship, 2nd half of the season, how the f**k did he think we was going to get the goals to win enough matches to stay in the Premier league???

Didnt add any pace or creativity to the squad, both lacking in our promotion season, where you can get away with it in the Championship but you cannot in the Premier League.

Try comparing it to what other teams have done in their first Premier League season on far less budgets and then come back and have a serious discussion.

QPR done what we did and two managers, Warnock and Hughes paid the price. QPR aside the last club I can think of that totally wasted a a budget beyond the size of their club was Liverpool and Dalglish paid the price.

Seems like you are the one talking bollocks we were never in the bottom 3 under malky, we are now, if tan backed malky we wouldn't be in the shit like we are now. If we finished 4 from bottom it would be a successful season. 1win since he left, work it

If we go down and Oli fails to get us challenging for a return to the premier then Tan will remove him and all of these Norwegian members we have will disappear.

Who the hell does this guy Golden Cheetah thinks he is. I bet he never heard of us before Oli became our manager.

Indeed Craig but decorum is required now and then.

Being told to support the team by someone who has only been around 2 seconds does tend to piss me off.

Annis.

A serious question and I'd like an honest reply if possible.

You keep alluding to the fact it was Lim and Tan who signed off the Acorn cheques so they are as much to blame BUT.........

If last summer news broke that Malky had agreed this deal with Copenhagen for Acorn and Tan/Lim had called the deal off due to it being too expensive, what would you have said?

IMO you would not have said "thats fair enough, it was a lot of money" it would have been more like "What do Tan/Lim know about football, they should stop interfering and leave the football decisions to the football man"

Craig

You would have seen that you tube video of Cornelius on here on a daily basis with a story line about tans interference costing us one of the best up and coming strikers in Europe.
And of course as you said they have no idea about football and leave those matters to Malky moody and their fail safe dossiers.
Any story will be twisted to an anti tan agenda

Totally agree it doesn't matter what tan/club do they are the devil to annis ,I can't remember a time that annis was happy with Cardiff city
in the last 15 Years, there has always been an argument ,it's like a marriage to him a love/hate relationship :)

Why am I talking about Malky once again, because many on here, keep attacking his reign as City manager and Tan keeps talking about Malky to the media every couple of weeks.

Remember you all said all u wanted in the first season was Premiership survival and that was all.

Well in my 41 consecutive seasons of following City.

Eddie Mays years were my best along with Malkys, despite the despicable rebrand, Malky got the fans and the club close again after DJ had distanced the fans from the club. Malky put passion back in to our club.

Malky won the Championship, but never just won it, he ran away with it.
Leicester City had big money. many before have and failed.

Cardiff City, a Premier League Club  Malky beat Manchester City at that moment in time they were the top club in Britain. Malky drew with the great Man United and beat the Jacks in our first ever top flight football. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Oops Malky made a terrible mistake and signed Cornelius, contract written up and signed off by Simon Lim, terrible buy I agree, Oops but Ole has always admired Cornelius as well. I forgot Malky when u won promotion, u brought up to £160 mill in to our club, forgotten by many.

Yet Tan who has stripped us of our identity, pride and passion and lent our club £150 mill, but not done as promised changed to shares is still loved by some.

Malky our fans loved you a year ago, u made mistakes and now some now want to hang u, short memories Hmm.

:ayatollah:

:ayatollah: :ayatollah: Should we now all rally behind Ole of course we should, he is Cardiff City's manager and no matter what our opinions are, once the day of the match comes,we must support Ole and our players right up and till May 2014. :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Couldn't agree with you more - well said! :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Works both ways Ian, kids whove only ever known modern football calling supporters who have been around the block "plastics" just because they dont share their anti-tan agenda.
