Everyone wants blue but many want Tan to stay because whether you like to admit it or not, he has done some good for the club. If it wasnt for the rebrand he would be considered eccentric and nothing else.

His point on Malky is a valid one. Virtual unknown, didnt do great at Watford and came here with a huge budget.

We would not have got promoted without Tans money

We did not get promoted because we changed to red

I get from that interview that he is more determind than ever to make us successful.

Good post, agree with most although not sure about the last bit?
I renewed today, after reading his statement I drove to the stadium not sure if I was about to do the right thing. After forking out a fair amount of money in all probability to watch a Championship side next season, I still wasn't sure I was doing the right thing?
I despise Tan for making us what we are, he has totally unsettled the fan base, but I just live & breath Cardiff City. I don't mind going back down, if it means we go back to 20k crowds and we re-discover our edge as fans then so be it!

The line just got crossed.

Hey Gwyn? Time to speak out?

Hey Sam Hammam? Time to defend your family?

Hey Borley? Time to tell him to get fucked?

Ely? Ponty? Merthyr? Llanrhymney?

He's calling you all cunts. Tan is his name.

The Wurzels and the Jacks must be pissing themselves.

Who's ready to stand up? United as City. Cardiff f*cking City.

I know plenty of people who dont use/know about the forum and they care a lot about the Tan issue and interview

For example I have been in work all day in an office of 25 - 10 people discussing it and none of them go on this forum or any other forum

This is affecting the majority of our fan base

Re: ' VINCENT TANS LATEST STATEMENT '

Fri Feb 28, 2014 5:52 pm

Exactly. That's what I get too. Even none Cardiff fans slating Tan.

Re: ' VINCENT TANS LATEST STATEMENT '

I think there are far more than 90% of fans opposed to Tan his re brand and outbursts however like myself apart from always wearing Blue and refusing to buy anything red they are reluctant to protest because they do not want to cause any disruption that could effect the team and our current all be it slim chances of survival.

I think once/if our relegation is confirmed that this will change and protests against Tan could gather pace but as another poster pointed out we need to actively seek a buyer because if Tan pulls out and fails to convert debt to equity what happens then?

I have renewed my season ticket because I support Cardiff City FC and the team regardless of who is Chairman and I will always be a Bluebird regardless of whatever colour we play, in as for lucky red how f--cking lucky is it if we get relegated :old:

What do you base that on? I take it you mean Cornelius ..........A 19 year old lad (Danish player and young player of the year in a country....what.....30 places above Wales in the FIFA rankings) in a new country who played 113 minutes across about 8 games? I'm honestly embarassed by the lack of patience he was given. Maybe we should have signed a more proven player but we should have got behind him. Try and name me a side in the premier league that has never over spent on a player.......

One of the biggest jokes on this forum is how we have all been brain washed by the british press on TAN just cos they love malky

he has divided the fans with the colour change but then we accepted it at the time so get over it
if he changed it back would we all accept tan and actually say the press is wrong cos I suspect most of us would if not all

the press loves all this crap about tan and really have gone to town on him
Hull are going tha same way if not worse atm but no attacks on there owner from the press and while there fans aint happy they still do not want him out

Once again he is pushing the boat more and more.

The uproar of fans happened again but will they actually stop giving it the big I am on here and other social sites and actually stand up against all this?

Oh I wear blue to the ground blalabla is that enough? Not at all.

It doesn't bother Tan in anyway, unless it's about self pride about the club then fair enough but if you think it's going against Tan you couldn't be far from the truth.

This is one of many reasons I never bigged myself up as a massive anti rebrand man on here because I would be making a fool of myself, blabbing on here 24/7 but when it comes to protest or marches a lot of the supporters never do it.

On the statements on Malky Mackay, I agree Dave Jones was better. I saw better football on the pitch and with a smaller budget. Malky is a great bloke but too much of a media man.. when it comes to what the main part on the pitch it's dire.

I renewed, shocked I did so myself.. the negativity and the divide getting worse everyday it is taking it out of me but it's a horrible love habit I have.

If MM was still here I would of never renewed. The boredom of what I see on the pitch was repetitive.

Malky keeps getting brought up by Tan, strange let it go he needs to.

Re: ' VINCENT TANS LATEST STATEMENT '

Tan will not leave Malky alone cos he is convinced that he and cardiff have been ripped off by him and is hoping to prove it

The whole interview shows no respect, understanding or love for Cardiff. The question is : "what do fans do as a next step?"

^^^ I agree . The manner in which city fans got on the lads back is embarrassing . You are right , the money should have been spent on someone more proven but it wasn't the lads fault . Worst business ever by selling him straight back , tans doing no doubt . Should have given him a loan spell in the championship and got some games under his belt .

The man really hasn't or never will have a clue about football or understanding it. The rebrand was supposed to make us debt free he was supposed to turn debt to equity he hasn't.

In my eyes tan will try his best to blackmail fans again to come on board and when it all goes wrong again he will walk away demanding his 90 mill just like sam did and we'll have another langston on are hands again.

The man is a joke running a football club its just a hobby to him and by him saying ill buy another club and change it red proves he hasn't learnt a thing and clearly has no respect.

He has just shown me what I thought of him is justified. Cardiff city will only ever be half a club to support for me because this idiot picked the other half up and threw it in the bin and slammed the lid down like the brat he is.

Not good for football and not good for Cardiff City the message is clear we dont want red but again and again the fool doent care to listen. Vincent tan is his own worst enemy and he has without dought made him self my enemy.

A poisonous man thats as stubborn as a donkey.

Vt out and he can take his band of yes men with him.

To be fair we all knew that when he arrived....it was an unusual way tan got involved with our club to say the least.
He have always put his money where his mouth is, and I respect him for that, especially that frustrating period when
we were being dragged through the courts by the taxman.....now he's hurt, we're hurt and hurt people hurt people.
