If you don't care for a club, that means you have no real feelings at all for them, yet you have dedicated a signature to how much you hate them...

Just a bit of a contradiction. :laughing6:

I know your fond of repeating yourself but twice in the same post?
C'mon Baz your better than that

My comment was related to results Baz, thought you would've noticed that by the reference to when they play us.

As for my sig, it's a football song.
It's not meant to be taken literally
We are not the greatest team in football the world has ever seen, for the record

Why your constant need to comment on the poster and not the issue
Continues is beyond me.

Swansea played extremely well (as much as it hurts to say) however Napoli played equally shit. They were sloppy at times (which is unusual) and from the looks of it were playing for the draw after HT and allowing you to keep the ball. Yes - people may come back to this comment and say Swansea always have great possession but that doesn't mean anything. Possession is great but the key factor to any football match is the result which includes goals!

I don't post very often on here but after reading this thread it was hard not too... Roath - how you can say you won't regret or look back at this and think 'what if' is beyond me (and everyone else it would appear). What your saying is not ''accurate'' at all - just because you had 69% possession and 21 shots in the game, means nothing. The main FACT is it was 0-0 which shows the chances you had (and there were plenty of EXCELLENT chances) were not delivered. I mean common, Bony, one on one with the keeper, takes the extra touch and the GK saves it.... How you can't look at that and think PERFECT opportunity BUT what if he just shot the first time.

I think you are very biased Roath and can't accept anyone else's opinion EVEN though its CLEAR your team didn't take there chances and it'll come back and bite them :) :sleepy2:

I completely agree with Garry, i dont see where he is against anything I said?

Im equally dissapointed we didnt win. Just as I am dissapointed we didnt win against you guys at your place.

However to regret or rue the game is completely different. We didnt squander chances. We took them well and the keeper was up to the challenge. Not sure which bit is confusing you.

Hello.

I completely and utterly disagree, in fact it isnt even disagree - you are wrong.

Of you thought like that you would never sleep at night. Do you have to do that with every game you dont win? What if my shot wasnt off target and it flew in? What if our keeper saved it? What if my shot from 50 yards that hit the corner flag actually hit the back f the net? What if all our players tunred into barca players.... We would have won boo hoo.

It was a game of football. We were playing against a top Italian side where people gave us next to no chance to get ANYTHING out of it. We played extremely well, carved out the best chances and had so much more of the ball. However everything we threw at them they were equal to. Nobody is going to regret anything and to suggest so is just one eyed idiocy.

I bet you are the type to play the lottery and then "regret" not winning a week later when your gas bill comes through.

If Vorm didnt save their shot early on we would have lost 1-0.

If that game was played over again, i dont think the game plan would change and unless the keepers got worse I dont think we would score if presented with the same opportunities either, they were excellent saves or half chances.. So what am I supposed to be regretting again?

Re: ITV comms

Possibly the worst reply I've ever come across... Your barking mad.

You focus on one point and just fire every pointless answer you have for it. You can't honestly say that throughout that match you were gutted you hadn't scored because of the chances? The thing with me is accept and reflect on the match afterwards with some mates - we have a little chat about how we played, the chances we had, the missed opportunities bla bla bla ... And you'll always pick up on a time in a match where you think 'why didn't he hit it first time' ....

I don't lose sleep over it but the fact is, in a game you dominated (which you agree with) you can't accept you've missed a great opportunity of going to Naples with a nice goal or two advantage!!

I can't see how you can say they were equal to you with every chance you had..... There were what 4 times when it was a swansea player v the GK/goal when Chico sneaked through for an open chance - couldn't take it... Ashley Williams exactly the same but couldn't take it, bony one on one but couldn't take it..... If it was Cardiff, I'd be proud like you are but I'd still be thinking we 'should have won that game with that performance' ... Everyone has an opinion, we clearly don't accept yours (majority) and you don't accept ours - I really couldn't care less.

Oh and by the way, yes it's a football match but as we all know stats mean nothing in football, the result is the most important and swansea blew there great opportunity of the advantage :D :thumbright:

You are talking nonsense. You are clubbing together all matches and expecting each one to be the same. Each game is completely different. Bony never hits one on ones first time so why would i regret that he didnt on this occasion? Its futility. Its like saying why didnt beckham blast the free kick instead of bending it...

I don't lose sleep over it but the fact is, in a game you dominated (which you agree with) you can't accept you've missed a great opportunity of going to Naples with a nice goal or two advantage!!

absolutely dont accept it. You cant seem to grasp that you can dominate a match and not "deserve" to score. If we carved out a golden opportunity and missed the target when normally we wouldnt then id agree. However we didnt create that golden opportunity. Any good chance we had was well saved and the rest were half chances. You are talking rubbish.

I can't see how you can say they were equal to you with every chance you had..... you cant have an opinion on what a Swans fan is feeling though. This discussion is whether I, me, myself, roathie - will regret not winning this game. My opinion is worth a billion of anyone elses because I am the only one who can say with any certainty what I am feeling. We did not do enough to win the match so why would I regret it? If i felt like that then i would regret every match we dont win and question why we havent won the league. We didnt do enough, simple as that.

Oh and by the way, yes it's a football match but as we all know stats mean nothing in football, the result is the most important and swansea blew there great opportunity of the advantage :D :thumbright:

what twaddle. The stats show how the match went, it shows we dominated them. What it doesnt show is calibre of shot missed or on target, but that isnt the point I made regarding the stats was it

There was no easy opportunity to take an advantage, we still had to beat the keeper which proved a task we couldnt achieve. So again what was it im supposed to be regretting again? On yes, our players not changing their technique to a technique they never display just incase that worked better? :D

You really are pullung out all the bitter stops to put a negative slant on it. dont wash with me sonny.

I think he likes,to mark your contributions in the manner of a schoolteacher. Condescension and patronising remarks are his calling card, they hide is innate inability to concede that other posters have valid contributions to make.
I always thought that an integral part of any football match was trying to ensure that your shots, headers manged to evade the best efforts of your opponents goalkeeper to score a goal. Failure to make sure that you make the most of these opportunities to do so must be regrettable if your intention is to win the game.
He also defends is right to his opinion, yet earlier in the thread he was claiming is opinion to be representative of allmSwansea fans. Every man is an island I guess, especially when it is convenient to be so.
