A plastic fan is someone who last season supported man u , chelsea, liverpool , arsenal etc then seen cardiff go up and then supported cardiff as they could go to the games because there used to watching there number 1 team on tv and there season ticket would of been a sky remote, and now if we do go down cardiff will soon be forgotton about and they will get a season ticket with there remote again and watch there top 4 side all season on tv and not support cardiff until there back in the prem!!

In my mind a "plastic" is someone who never goes to matches at all but attaches itself to one of the crème de la crème teams who are always hovering around the top 4 places in the league, they cheer their chosen team on from their armchair or pub stool..you never find them in football grounds.

If you go home and away week after week I salute you.but I suggest that's money spent better elsewhere. If you've got no kids grandkids then maybe.or perhaps the awway trips are more of a social trip to avoid wife?????

My point is if you put money into the clubs coffers you are supporting club. Who are they to call fans plastic.
