My season ticket has gone up a lot for next season - wasn't in price freeze and in grandstand going up from £599 to £689! I get the train from London for every home game and goto all away in London and others close by eg. Southampton...

For me, one issue right now is I don't want the extra games the championship will bring as I have to spend £50-£70 a time on the train to get back for the games, so extra games is a big cost. With the stadium increase, I'm pretty sure I could get tickets for any home game in the championship and will make a vast majority... So currently undecided on whether I will renew..

Same here except I dont use the train but my car from Derby.

Adding to that I don't do midweek games so on an economical term it is not viable to get a ST. This season I did not renew and thought it would be difficult to get a ticket. Well it has got been a problem at all and if we are relegated well I will be able to take my pick.

I use to be proud to say I was a ST holder of Cardiff City but under this regime that has all gone.

I think its insane £689.

Especially if it is for Championship footy.

I'd much rather go watch the likes of us playing Villa, West Brom, Fulham and all that are near us in the table, makes for a far better game! :ayatollah:

It`s the clubs own fault that there are empty seats at games.

We used to get a few thousand walk up crowd every game, people who cant have a season ticket because of work commitments, working rotas etc, now if you dont have a season ticket you have to pay the club £40 for membership, you cant buy a ticket unless you do this. It`s like another tax, tax on buying tickets, f**k that..
Scrap the tax and get the walk up crowd back.

Actually, every home game since Southampton has gone on general sale (to non members)

So many so called fans are taking the enjoyment away for me. Calling our players 'donkeys' at the top of their lungs, expecting all our players to be magical and be able to do anything because they are on '£x a week'. Don't hear these 'fans' singing or supporting the team just constant bitching.

I sometimes feel I would welcome the championship if it would get rid of these wankers. It is these people that are ruining the atomsphere IMO.

I'll always be there though, already renewed for next season.

I agree that the membership thing is confusing... Also what is frustrating is that you can't sell you seat to Viagogo etc. if you can't make it to a game - many clubs allow this... The club have told me reasons that they don't want to do this but I don't quite agree with them on this... And the fact you get half the sale price towards you next ticket if the club manage to sell your seat isn't really very good...

£689 potentially in the championship is ridiculous yes... You are paying now and not knowing what product you get... Our team would have to change a lot as many players would seek moves, and presumably OGS would go? I think they should credit back £100-150 if we get relegated...

I know plenty of local sports players in the Rhondda who support us, including my 2 sons. When their games are postponed on Saturdays, they want to come and watch us. They're not on our data base, and are not gold/silver members, how can they get in ?

Long shot here but... Not many jobs around, quiet time of year for work, Wales is traditionally a poor country. People have to work long hard hours to earn a wage.

Why spunk £50 of that watching a bunch of over payed mediocre players trying to play football.

I'm a fan, if I lived in Cardiff I would be there win lose or draw, but I'm lucky to be able to afford a season ticket.

Don't blame hard working people for not throwing money away.
