Who cares about Whitts confidence he's been shit all season and shouldn't even be on the bench next week. If he had stayed on we would have had zero chance of winning that game. It's cardiff city fc not the Whitts appreciation society some of fans are unbelievable with the levels of accolades for Whitts as if he's some god he crap it's that simple used to good at set prices and long shots but now he's even shit at them. Should have sold him.

Have you been watching our games?

He has been terrible every corner has either hit the first man of been kicked way to far. He's free kicks have been crap he others nothing defensively. Should have been sold Mutch,medel,Kim,Eikrem,Noone,Bellers,Zaha,matts-Daeheli are all better than him.

The goal came from piss poor defending by Noone ..... Not a mention on here

Do you honestly not think that yesterdays negative atmosphere and attitude to a senior club stalwart does not radiate through the squad ? Hudson 3 seasons ago, miller & Cowie 2 seaons ago, Taylor & Cowie last season and Whitts this season. Is it my turn next ?

We pay a manager a shed load of money to pick a team and formation, Whittingham does not pick the team or formation- he got it wrong.

Mutch and Medel look our best combination, but that's not your choice that's the managers. Your job is to support the team not destabilise it.

How on earth you deduce that Eikrem is better than anyone is beyond me, he has hardly played.

Good post, fully agree about Noone, he & Fabio got caught out again soon after, but thought Noone was excellent on the ball yesterday.
I thought Whitts started in his best position yesterday (possibly only position now?), centre midfield but it just didn't happen for him?
Mutch for me has to play in the attacking midfield role, he drives at defences and can cause a bit of panic, he wins free kicks & can get a goal.
I don't know much about Eikrem and have seen hardly anything of him but he was likened to Whitts when he signed, good passer, good delivery at set piece. He has everything to prove whereas Whitts is out of form & confidence. My fear really is Ole will pick neither and go with Gunner who for me offers very little at this level.

What an embarrasement fool you are. Disgrace? Whittingham has always been laid back in a game.
It has been proved he did as much running and covering in the forst 30 minutes as anyone. When he
scores he never celebrates it is his manner. Whittingham could have left at many times when the Club
were struggling but wanted to stay in Cardiff. YOU are the disgrace because you would not say this to
his face. And yesterday yes i travelled from London. i have girlfriend here in Fairwater. You it seems
live in little village hiding behind laptop and asking strangers for a fight. Whiitngham, laid back, calm
and quiet is to be taken more seriously than you with tough words and probably wet your bed still

Please point out where I asked anybody for a fight. It never happened, the insults about the village I currently live in came from Green Arrow who never attends Cardiff City games. Those insults he would not repeat in the local rugby club I can assure you.
I was born and raised in Cardiff, my family have lived there for many generations.
I have supported Cardiff City for over 40 years, I can tell when a player is not on form as Whittingham clearly isn't but I also recognise when an out of form player tries to compensate by working hard for the team. Did we see that from him yesterday?

I would because I'm straight up. If you're going to beat me up because you cant handle the truth then do it but people should just remember there are repercussions for their actions as well. You think id care about letting my feelings known in a rugby club? Wow you've got me all wrong sunshine.

1. Whitts deserved to be subbed
2. Whitts was out of position
3. Ole realised the tactical error and brought him off
4. Whitts doesn't deserve abuse because of his service to this club
5. Hes not on form but being played out of position didn't help

Simple terms.

Did you watch the game? It was a masterful substitution that completely changed the game.
Naive my arse.

Course I watched the game ,my point is that I thought he could have waited eight minutes to do so.did city improve dramatically in those eight minutes!no.

8 Mins is a good amount of time to get someone warmed up. Think about it.

You keep harping on about Whitts being played out of position, he played in two positions yesterday and as far as I'm aware they were the two positions he has played mostly in last two seasons, centre midfield & left midfield .
Did you actually watch the game yesterday?

The development of the goal actually went like this:

1. Whittingham ran over to right wing and failed even to challenge winger even though advanced of him
2. Noone ran back and failed in attempted challenge
3. Fabio failed in attempted challenge
4. Winger crosses, Turner intercepts and kicks to Snodgrass
5. John, nearest defender is sucked in too central and fails to block shot.

Many to blame but a more effective midfield would have cut out the danger at the outset
