Yes some games have seats spare were season ticket holders aint turned up but it realy is few and far between unlike the hundreds u have.
As for the rest iv put up, why is it bollocks?
Were u not getting 13k before your cup runs and play offs?
And was we not getting 15 k in our 2 season's in the champ?
It takes time to build a fan base after the shit we went through.

You have never averaged more than cardiff even in the champ and that's a fact. If you want me to bring up figures I can, you only have to ask

What did cardiff average in they're first season in the championship.

Swansea averaged 15186

And

Cardiff averaged 18654

In their first 2 seasons together in the championship

I didn't ask that. What was cardiff's average attendance in they're first season in the championship.

Cardiff were averaging 15612 while Swansea were averaging a massive 6k in the same year

Come on stop telling porkys, cardiff average attendance was around 13000 or even a bit lower in that first season in the championship.

Really ? ...

2003–04 Cardiff City F.C. season - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2003–04_Cardiff_City_F.C._season‎
Average home league attendance, 15,569

This at a ground which could only hold about 17000 home fans at the time.

How about the following two years?

He wasn't asking about them - how about the 810 fans you took to Man U 2 weeks ago ? You went a bit quiet about that.

How about our gates when we had a new ground ? Or do you want to compare the gates we had when we were struggling in a sh1t tip with a 1000 capcity family stand with your 1st season, finishing 7th in the Champ in a brand new ground.

When like for like is compared we constantly come out on top with attendances. Even a one-eye like you should be able to see that.

I'm not embarrassed at all -our gates are 35% bigger than yours, and on the last season when we were both at a similar level all season with space in both of our grounds we were 40-50% bigger home and away.

The only embarrassing thing is sad fuckers like you and the other 2 spending half their life on here and not knowing stuff about your own club (or pretending not to know ).

That's great and YES it's most likely because we have a bigger catchment area at least you get that - but your friends can't even grasp that. You seem to want to argue the toss, but when the stats show our gates as bigger than yours you then scuttle back to 'you've got a bigger catchment area' - why not just admit our support is bigger, which after is all that we are saying, and settle for that to start off with .

Or do you want to compare the gates we had when we were struggling in a sh1t tip with a 1000 capacity family stand with your 1st season, finishing 7th in the Champ in a brand new ground.

When like for like is compared we constantly come out on top with attendances. Even a one-eye like you should be able to see that.
How about you answer the question :laughing6:

As for comparison between the two, with the population of your city compared to ours and the greater catchment area as you stated yourself, you should in fact be embarrassed as to how close the two clubs attendance figures actually are.

Now again, try answering the question :thumbright:

Because no matter how well they have done over the last few seasons, some of them have a massive chip on their shoulder. Sad as f**k really.

Can you please point out where I've said your support isn't bigger?

My point is that in comparison to each clubs supposed catchment area, you should be embarrassed about the difference, not shouting from the rooftops.

Either way, it has very little effect to what happens on the pitch which I'm sure you'll agree is slightly more important.

The stats and evidence suggests otherwise.

So what type of crowds should we be getting?

Is that numbers or atmosphere?

Swansea will never get the support cardiff has had. You can say we had years in the championship and fa cup runs blah blah, but you've had 3 years in the premier league, won a cup and if anything your home support has gone down. We were getting bigger crowds than you in the championship.

why bother..always empty for ospreys,, and the jacks may get 24000 for liverpool arsenal or man u, depending if they give about 5000 or 6000 for away fans..

Really wasting their money on this, they will never fill it for more than say 2 games a season.

When we were both shit and in the lower leagues year after year your attendances were allways a 1000 pr so more then ours.
Bare in mind port Talbot was mainly blue and neath had a large blue following.
But all that has changed over the years.
Since our rise our fan base has gone through the roof, were I sit in the stadium we have a few fans who are season ticket holders from Merthyr ffs, and have a bus dowm every home game. (Mini bus).
The amount of fans from your so called catchment areas is a guidance to how much our fan base has grown.

Annis how do u knoq we will never fill it? Was it not u who last season was talking about filling a 60 k stadium yet only a few weeks back asked if it qas worth u actually extending your ground because u cant fill it week in or out.
Was it not u who said we never took more the 2k to u only for a video to be put up with over 6 k at ninian.
I have 2brothers who cant get a sniff of a season ticket along with many other friends and family .

And that figure is bollocks as Wikipedia can be edited by anyone. And it also shows you haven't been a cardiff fan for long. It was more like 13000.

You really are a first class Muppet why don't you f**k off on your own forum your full of shit
