So your point is?
In your opinion.. Not that it's one that counts. I'm sure many decent fans were able to take up that opportunity, unless you're making a crass generalisation?
Eh? I'm sure you replied to the wrong post!
It's obviously quite evident that your club took 1500 tickets with no restrictions to appease your hooligan element rather than take the full 3000 so that decent fans could watch the game! Either that or your club didn't accept the full allocation on the basis that they didn't think they would sell them because of restrictions! You can't have it both ways Barry. Read my original post on the subject ref: Man City. It's all about giving as many fans who want too attend the game the opportunity to do so!

Or giving the chance for the supporters to prove that they can behave (which they did) & therefore allowing bigger numbers to travel with less restrictions in the future. Always got to look at things long term too, not just for the short term.

64 Jack. There is a story behind Chelsea which you will probably appreciate.
We agreed to the lower allocation because we'd had a gutsful of 'bubbles'. Year after year we've had to put up with them - and it's not as if the behaviour is that bad now.
The police lost control there last time - dozens ended up in jail for what were very much minor offenses. it seemed that it was a set up - 6000 City fans let out striaght into the street where the banned Chelsea fans were. Maybe the police wanted to give the Chelsea lot a scare - maybe they wanted to set it up so they could lock them up/ban them a bit longer - I've no idea.
What I do know was the last time the police lost control was Wolves, where their fans ran down the bank into us and got hammered, it then kicked off and WMP were made to look pretty stupid. The year after they cut our allocation from 2700 to 800. They then engineered an incident under the stand with Cardiff fans (no Wolves involved) and made sure they got their revenge.
For me I flet it was better to have 1500 go up there under their own steam and behave (the only time we get trouble is when the support goes over 2000 IMHO) leading to less restictions in future than have a bubble with 3000 in it and have sh1t off the met all day and then have similar restictions again and again. If we ever play them again

.
It seemed to work as although lots missed out on tickets this time (by the way I didn't go this time as I was happy for someone else to get a ticket), it went well and hopefully will mean things will be better next time and we can have 3000 under our own steam.
Does that make sense to you ?

It was a totally valid response & one that has been repeated by a respected member of the travel group.

How many did you take to Brum then Glyn?

Chuckles has clearly caught out SL69 for lying in this thread and you have a go? Another example of the petty infighting on this board that has driven so many away

Its obvious he's lying but Chuckles argues with anybody over anything and lies his arse off whilst doing it. So he is the last one to pull someone else up for it mate.

As all jacks on here will allso say, the ticket office at the stadium is a f*cking joke.
It was told to many fans who went there to buy tickets that it was a sell out off th 3k we had.
On planet swans it was allao said the same.
Thats why my self and many more didnt bother going.
The ticket office and day to day running of the stadium and food is run by a set up called stadco witch has a long list of f**k ups.
So was I lieing? Nope but only posting on what I was told by them who should know.
But off course the truth is allways talked on here
Sun Jan 26, 2014 1:55 pm
Of course.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 1:57 pm
Ps
Barry as you have allready said in a pm with me your missis is a jack so im sure she will allso confirm the problems with the ticket office and the fact thay have not got a clue.
And cityone ita knobs like u who talk out of there backside.

We have the same problems with the ticket office here Paul, but you dismissed that claim when it suited your argument that we didn't sell out.
Now you want to use it to do the same.
I'm amazed that a ticket office would turn away punters because it estimated selling 2k tickets more than it had.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 2:04 pm
To make an accusation of someone lying would mean to make an assumption without all the facts.
Seeing as how you said had already sold 3k then afterwards claim 1,600.
Then you are a liar.. Barry doesn't need to accuse you..
Sun Jan 26, 2014 2:16 pm
The crowd at Birmingham yesterday was 11,460 (including 1,592 from Swansea)
http://www.birminghammail.co.uk/sport/f ... ge-6553236Not quite the 4,000 that was claimed was travelling (unless of course they did sell 4,000 but 2,408 didn't make it to the game).
Sun Jan 26, 2014 2:21 pm
You stait u selling out when there are hundreds of empty seats for all to see on the box.
As for brum away I went to buy tickets for me and my boy but the slag bhind the desk said that she thought it was a sell out but I should come back as they are asking for more.
As I work I didnt do so and didnt go yeasterday.
Only untill fri when it was posted on planet swans u can pay on the day I found there was tickets left.
The ticket office is a joke and is run more like a conference outfit.
Anothe example is the napoli game? It says on line u can only buy tickets on line? Yet I bought mine in tje office my sellf.
So no I was not lieing but only saying what was told to me by the girl on the desk.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 2:24 pm
Who said 4k carl?
I was told 3 k had been sold and was asking for more tickets. As iv said the staff in the office aint got a clue.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 2:24 pm
I don't wish to be pedantic but if they had sold 4,000 wouldn't that total have been been included in the official attendance figures whether the caravans made it to St. Andrew's or not?

Jack 10 did in this thread.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 2:46 pm
In fairness, I think what is more likely to have happened here is the 2 halfwits have been told their allocation was sold out and that Swansea were asking for more then assumed it was 3000 which is Birmingham's advertised cup allocation instead of the 800 it originally was.
Pretty stupid of them to assume they would be taking 4000 up there however you look at it.
As it was they swore blind that was the case which made them look like liars. Unfortunately the one can't admit to it - or where he was bullshitting last night -and the other one - well he's just SL69

our resident comedian.
Mind you I don't know what was going through SL69's mind when he said they took 2000 to Man U 2 weeks in a row when it was actually 800 . Hard to work out how he got that so wrong unless he was just talking total sh1t.
And STILL he hasn't worked out that all teams have empty seats when they sell out as people go to the toilet, watch the game form the bars underneath or sometimes don't turn up. Happens everywhere - God there must have been 10k at Arsenal who weren't there, but it was still showing as a 60k sell-out. Man U estimate 10-15% on average don't turn up. But there you are, as he is struggling to make an argument where all the facts are against him he'll clutch at straws.
The little mice on their wheels up there must have been on speed.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 3:06 pm
Lol a few empty swats?
Make that a few hundred
And lets face if u go to buy a ticket and get told the 3k we had was sold out there is not much more u can do.
But hey think what u want.
Sun Jan 26, 2014 3:09 pm
So u are saying during a game there are hundreds in the toilet ? Got water problems in csrdiff have u?.
And 10 k at arsenal

Come on friend stoo talking shit.
Even your own fans are saying the same about the empty seats.

So, you were at Arsenal for the Cardiff game were you ? There were huge swathes of empty seats in the top tiers there, thousands - and yes as many as 1 in 6 - which would be 10k.
It happens regularly there - read this
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/articl ... -Sale.htmlAs i said, there are always empty seats everywhere - lots of reasons, these seats however are sold - the club can't sell them again- your ground no different.
Read this about Man Utd - you might understand better then. Its an eye opener.

So what u are saying is when u have empty seats at that shit lego tip all the fans are out eating or pissing.
If that was the case then explain to me why annis asked if it was worthy of building in more seats .
