As for capital of sport in wales, who do u suggest the claim should go to.
Please on gods creation dont say u.

Of course & it will matter to you lot next month too. Wouldn't want Cardiff to do the first double, would you? :laughing6:

Well, as for the capital of sport, surely the fact that the two most followed sports in Wales (Rugby, football) are both based in Cardiff, both national teams are based in Cardiff (bigger stadia) I'd suggest that Cardiff were. The biggest football club is also here & it's playing top flight football. All Swansea have is a secondary cup competition, which not even the residents of Swansea are that bothered with, judging by attendances, so why the hell should anyone else in Wales care?

Your two years in the spotlight have gone. You're in as much of a struggle as us & lost the first premiership derby - with all those people watching.

Must have hurt. :laughing6:

Wouldnt be great if we lost any game, but these derbies mean far more to your lot at this moment in time. I remember Reading doing the double ofer Reading - so what? Liverpool are still far better and always have been. Everyone loses.

We are certsinly not in as much of a struggle as yourselves, thats a ridiculous thing to say

And the 2 bigest sports played in wales habe the best vlubs in swansea.
And please dont make out thay tje league vup is nothing as its far more then u have won.
Attendance wist we sell out every game and have done so since we have been in the prem.
You will find a few empty seats werw as st holders aint turned up but not many.
And as for cardiff the bigger club is a myth.
In wales we are even but out side of wales we have fan clubs .
Do u barry??

Disagree there Paul.

They have won the FA Cup which is a greater accolade than the league cup, although our league cup win is far more relevant today than their FA Cup win - maybe thats what you were trying to say?

Cardiff are also probably the bigger club too so id have to disagree with you there too. However we are Wales' number 1 club and there is very little in it in terms of "size" in my opinion. We have similar histories, both in the same league and if we both had a 100,000 seater stadium i think they would average maybe 5,000 more than us. But attendances of 24,000 and 29,000 are hardly wildly different.

Well that's a lie for starters Paul. Cardiff have won far greater competitions that the league cup. :laughing6: you yourself weren't interested in it until the final (funny that) and during the build up to the final of the competition that Cardiff were involved in, did Swansea supporters call it the "Mickey Mouse cup". :laughing6:

Anyone in the prem could sell out a tiny stadium like yours, that's hardly an achievement. :laughing6:

Cardiff being the bigger club is a myth? We were getting bigger crowds than you, even in the lower tier. Behave. :laughing6: :laughing6:

But u were in the champ a lot longer had many finals were gans jumped on the bandwagon.
As for winning more then us ? What the fa cup u mean.
Lets face it us winning the autoglass twice was harder then u winning the fa cup in the 20s non professional and semi professionalteams.
Even the royal eengineers use to compete in them days.
And off course the leage cup ain as high an achievement then the fa but we have won somthing wile u aint in modern times.
Tell me barry if u go on what u won in size then tjat makes preston bigger then u and us together afyer all, they have a far greater hisyory then us both

Never liked or trusted tan the accounts are shocking .his debt to equity has never happened and are debt has risen since he came in.

I said ages ago hamman built up debts walked out then wanted millions payed back.

We could be going down the same road with Tan but owing much more money than we ever owed Langton.

Then we still got all the extra kit sales out in asia to come.so hoping for big money soon. Bollocks the rebrand isnt going to earn us extra money so why did tan do it only tan knows.

Lots are and will always wear rose tinted glasses.

Tan has got in far too deep to pull out. The only way he can do it is to float the club in the stock exchange and hopefully someone will buy him out. And to float the shares, the club has to perform credibly. Tan is a businessman and so long as the club is making money,he don't have any problems.Tan has no choice but to spend to buy glory. The last resort is to cut losses and sell it to anyone at a huge discount and walk away.
But Tan has this uncanny midas touch when it come to business. Couple of years back, he bought some Facebook shares just because some friends ask him to invest. When Facebook got listed in the stock exchange, this guy made many millions.
Let's wish the best for CFCC.

Nope. Nor the £115k a week they are paying Cornelius, Medel and Caulker combined, Nor the add ons for medels transfer, £2.5m they spent this week. Agents fees, rest of the squad wages, or the massive admin fees they seem to be racking up. But hey, they'll still make a profit! :laughing6:

Annis, I may not agree with everything you post, but you are a Bluebird through and through. Unlike VT and his hangers on, you and a couple of thousand others were there when things were tough, and if the worse were to happen you'd be there again if they jump ship. I know the figures are bad, but without the £49 million stadium valuation they'd be catastrophic. I was listening to the radio on Thursday, might have been 5 Live, football finance expert said "the only way these investors from the far east can make money is to get their clubs into the Champions League", which on the face of it, looks good news for the club. But I still have doubts about how much CCFC means to VT, because the supporters mean nothing to him. And what is a club without its supporters. He has been very slow to learn that football is not like any other business.

I think you just have to enjoy the ride, because no matter what happens, even if VT were to destroy CCFC LTD, he'll not destroy what is YOURS. Both our clubs have survived the lower leagues, and if needed to we would do so again. Fourth Div or PL when your team scores and wins it feels every bit as good.

Cardiff's level of debt has risen to STG118 million ($A220.09 million), the club's latest accounts reveal.

The figures, for the year ending May 31, 2013, show an operating loss of STG30.9 million, up from almost STG13 million.

Of the club's overall debt, STG66 million is owed to owner Vincent Tan, despite the Malaysian converting STG2.5 million into equity and writing off interest of STG5 million.

Club salaries rose from STG18.5 million to STG27 million, which was explained by "significant bonus payments" made as a result of promotion from the Championship to the Premier League, while there was an STG8 million rise in administrative costs.

Tan stated last summer he planned to turn the debt owed to him into equity, and chairman Mehmet Dalman told BBC Wales: "I don't think club supporters should be worried. We've gone into this with our eyes open. We want to get rid of the debt by converting to equity.

"That means Vincent Tan will own this club 98 per cent, and it will have no debt.

"If we remain in the Premier League, debt will not exist and profit will begin to accumulate, which means better players, better football and so on."

This debt to equity scenario still makes absolutely no sense what so ever, and the more the debt rises - the less sense it makes.mFor what possible reason would he ever do it?

Partial debt to equity - sure. But coverting £100m into equity is like a money hungry penny pincher buying a big mac meal for £150 when he could just pay just £6.

His goal is to make money so why give it away?
