Berkshire blue mate your clueless, You must have been blindfolded he got us up, to a cup final and when he left we we're still on target - above the drop zone. Remember!?
Given the backing of tan this window with some more firepower we could have seen a more creative Cardiff under malky

I'm assuming those sticking up for Cornelius didn't see him at Forest Green, Cheltenham, Accrington etc, he's a footballer of very limited ability but the sad thing is, he won't even TRY to improve and make a difference with us. I watched Rudy's performance for Blackburn today, putting himself about, being a nuisance and a threat, but the difference is Rudy improved with us because he did TRY to work at his game. Cornelius simply doesn't have Rudy's attitude, I wish we still had Rudy, who will always give us something different off the bench ahead of a lazy, ineffective Cornelius every time!

Please, shut the f**k up. The worst bullshit I've ever seen on this forum, and that's f*cking saying something!

I'm assuming you went to Forest Green, Cheltenham and Accrington as well then?

IT WAS PRE-SEASON, FFS!

Accrington wasn't pre-season.

Cool down smart-arse, the majority (2 out of 3) of the fixtures that you mentioned were pre-season NOTHING games.

But Accrington wasn't a NOTHING game. Against Accrington, their fans were chanting "what a waste of money" and then Cornelius got injured because he had a terrible first touch, resulting in him stretching for the loose ball and getting clogged. As I said in my initial post, I'm not questioning his ability just yet as he needs time to settle, but I cannot accept his lack of effort and work rate when on the pitch and it seems I have seen him play more times than you to make a judgement on his lack of effort so far, which is very disappointing to say the least.

Apparently, Ole has even said he is currently unfit and overweight, which is a concern considering he returned from injury weeks ago, so hopefully Ole can sort his fitness out and then he will actually be able to get around the pitch and show some effort at least.

You know, you really should stop tearing you hair out over some League 2 fans chanting 'what a waste of money' over a poor first touch probably caused by a lack of game time/match fitness.

I was at the Sunderland game (so I can comment on this supposed dreadful lack of effort). He came on with eight minutes to go. All his teammates were camped in their own half, so he was devoid of service. Therefore, he was also outnumbered. Secondly, the players (or rather, defenders) he was up against had already been playing for eighty-two minutes, whilst he had not. So they were 'tuned in' (if you see what I mean) to the game, and he was not. It's difficult to get up to speed in such a short space of time.

I agree with a sub needing a good 5 minutes to "tune in" to the game to adapt to the pace, but I can't agree with your excuse for his lack of effort being because the rest of the team were camped in their own half and he was outnumbered. Campbell constantly sprinted to close down defenders, so did Maynard when he came on at Arsenal. This resulted in their defenders panicking more which allowed the rest of the team to push out. The reason the rest of the team were camped in their own half against Sunderland, was because Cornelius wasn't putting any pressure on their defenders.

All we were all asking was for Cornelius to run himself into the ground for the 10-15 minutes he was on the pitch, to force their defenders to either pass back to the keeper, pressure them enough to lash the ball into touch, or give possession away. You would think an 8 million pound professional footballer on allegedly 45k a week would be able to do that. But that's what bothers me, I'm pretty sure Cornelius could have done that if he decided to put some effort in.
