Only on AAMB is a kid whose played three games or so compared to the most expensive player in the world when he was younger and then described as better than a player who will be Englands left back in little over two years time. A kid who has played 42 games most of which at the highest level.

He was compared from when bale was at the same stage/ age as Declan John is now . At that time he was at left back putting in the same performances as John is now for us . There is no comparison with there current abilities as bale has gone on to be a world class player . Did anybody think he would have been this good when he was at Southampton ? No .
They are very similar if you watch videos of bale back you will notice it as well.
