History lesson for Cardiff fans: We called them the gypos/pikeys because when they rocked up at the City they looked like scruffs, wearing stuff we used to wear 20 years back. They looked like pikeys and sounded like them too, Swansea was a very backward backwater town not long ago.

Homework for Cardiff fans: Take a walks down Rover Way by the coast. It is one of the biggest gypo sites in Britain and within the boundaries of Cardiff, an absolute hovel of a place.

Not embarrassing just regrettable. I don't understand why Cardiff fans not from Cardiff attack Swansea as a place, it's got f**k all to do with the football club. Plus they big up Cardiff but Cardiff has been spruced up massively at the expense of the the Valley communities that a lot of these posters hail from.

Look at the difference between Cardiff and Swansea though. Cardiff's borders cover a lot more ground than Swansea. Swansea isn't much more than a town lets be honest, there's f**k all there other than a swimming pool. If Swansea covered the area Cardiff did you'd have shit loads more pikeys. Cardiff has a population of 600,000? That's news to me. Thought it was closer to the 350,000 Mark, but then again I wasn't including the travelling/pikey community!

I'm very sorry, that was a auto-correct error. I must apologise. In reply to your other point, Newport is separate area to Cardiff and has a green belt zone so it does not encroach into Newport at present so the population does not include Newport, Swansea includes areas such as Carmarthen and Neath port talbot as its conurbation for an example, however they are separate so they mean nothing so the above point stands with Cardiff having a population of 346,000 and Swansea 239,000. Cardiff is predicted to become over 400,000 within the next ten years. Swansea is slowly growing but is predicted to get to 260,000 in ten years.

You're welcome. I think he's including the valley areas within a commuting distance (Rhondda, Torfaen etc) plus vale of Glamorgan (Barry etc) Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan are pretty much merged as an area. You only have to look at the college campuses (Cardiff and Vale college) to see that. The proposed city regions will also include Bridgend into Cardiff's conurbation area. The same with Swansea and NPT and Carmarthen. I think that's what he means maybe.

We're now hitting form and not far off where we were this time last season and with Michu and 1 or 2 signings to come in, everything in the Swansea garden is looking rosy again.Our run in to the season looks quite easy too so i fully expect us to kick on and finish comfortably in 10th or 9th if we really turn it up.And who know why might even go for the FA Cup as well.

Every person from Swansea is a gypsy though. The whole city is a gypsy community and the only reason Irish travellers continued down the M4 towards a civilised place like Cardiff is because they thought Swansea made a favela in Brazil look like a honeymooners paradise.
