The same mail who have been 100% spot on with everything to do with Cardiff you mean?

Wouldn't know - don't read it. Or any other paper for that matter.

So how can you say that "considering its the mail take it with a pinch of salt"?

They clearly have a superb contact at the club and have broken all major news stories and signings this year.

Because they tend to blame most of the world's problems on immigrants, Muslims and single mothers. That's reason enough for me.

As much as I liked Malky if Tan hadn't rebranded us then Malky would be having a slating. Spunked all that cash and playing horrendous football which would see us in bottom 5 100%

Re: DAILY MAIL EXCLUSIVE!

The Cornelius figures are the ones that stand out, absolutely shocking if true,,,followed closely by Brayfords contract.

Odemwingie, as far as i'm concerned, was a panic buy,,,when the true facts of Cornelius footballing prowess became apparent,,,after he was signed, of course.

As for Gary Medal & Steven Caulker, i remember thinking at the time of signing, that they were both overpriced imho.

Don't forget we also signed Lappin. Why???

Re: DAILY MAIL EXCLUSIVE!

I've said all along on here repeatedly awful business from malkys staff and anyone would deserve to be sacked.

Im not being funny but the package malky was given you cant trust no one when large sums of money are involved because they all want a piece of it.

I think they all knew what they were doing no one is that stupid.
They just couldnt resist getting upto no good with such sums of money involved

I like Malky and I hope he improves as a manager. However we were pretty shit under him. He made some terrible tactical decisions and rectified them too late. We often didn't start playing until the second half. I wish him the best but he just didn't cut the mustard in his first season in the Premiership in my opinion. I hope we get a great manager to replace him. Maybe if he'd had a director of football to help him or a successful number two he would have done better.

So basically we have to sell Caulker for over 22 mil to make any money off him.

To be fair on that one , would have been the only way you would have got him off the spuds. Standard practice that one.

Yep, a big sell on clause is standard practise, if a player went for double the fee paid he must have been a success and both clubs profit. 50% is on the steep side though.

We must've done exactly the same to Arsenal for Arron Ramsey, didnt we? we must have, oh f**k I'll get my coat.

If those figures are correct, Cardiff City were very wasteful with money in the summer and no wonder Tan is pissed off.

All this throw a different slant on the subject.

This is so far staggering that it just too unbelievable to be true.

I would say that but the mail has been very good with CCFC stories this season. Makes you wonder

Phew it's so lucky newspapers always tell the truth too and never over exaggerate. If the daily mail has said it, it must be true!

They got every CCFC transfer right.

People were lauding over them about how accurate they have been. Be a bit hypocritical to just dismiss a story that goes against the anti tan agenda on here.

Time to move on, what's done is done all we can do is get behind the team because we are in a relegation battle and as fans we can make the difference
going forward any protests must be about our colors and badge and nothing else

Yes Craig but this does seem extreme and specially after Tans statement about him not airing the dirty linen.

Re: DAILY MAIL EXCLUSIVE!

RIATH AL-SAMARRAI is the journalist who broke all the city stories. I assumed it was Moody or Malkys agent leaking to him. Moody used to be a journalist I believe, so probably has lots of friends in the industry.

But a story from the other side.......

The club was so tight until the summer, nothing leaked. In hindsight you can say it hasn't been right for six months.

Extreme enough to sack a head of recruitment and eventually a manager you could say.

the bad press Tan gas got from this you couldnt blame him for leaking it to the press. Same was said about Malky leaking the infamous email.

Baked, if those figures are true, can you blame Tan for wanting rid of Malky?

I dread to think what the wages are like for the players on the fridge of and out of the squad. Brayford, Smith, kiss, Etien that's probably 50k a week plus down the drain. Chuck cornflour on top nearly 400k a month hardly being used.

They say Cornelius earns £2.1m a year for 5 years, and initial sum being £10.9m if appearances are triggered (which you would assume they would be in 5 years).

That means the total package to bring in Cornelius was £21.4 million and some say hes no better than Rudy Gestede

I haven't even added signing on fee or agents fee into that.

Thats shocking.

You are missing out a yearly signing on fee, appearance fee, goal scoring fee. It all adds up.

I'd suggest it's a small drop in the start of a PR campaign for the club.

how come this isnt a sticky no more?

this forum is so corrupt and bias to anti tan lol its bullshit

Re: DAILY MAIL EXCLUSIVE!

I still find it amazing that the owner and chief executive both failed to authorize the expenditure that is being blamed on Moody and Mackay. Tan and Lim only have themselves to blame with the money being mis-used.

For me this is the crux of the whole matter. Talk of overspends & unauthorized payments,,this stinks of a total lack of management control,,,from the highest echelons of our club!

Re: DAILY MAIL EXCLUSIVE!

Sat Dec 28, 2013 11:24 am

Or Tan gave Malky and Moody 100% control. Which is what we wanted and they mis-managed it

Re: DAILY MAIL EXCLUSIVE!

Sat Dec 28, 2013 11:26 am

this should be a sticky but it goes against the tan out agenda ,malky and moody on footballing matters deserved to be sack tan should of done it months ago

Interesting notion. Is this how other Premiership managers operate? With total control on all transfer budgets & payments??
