The usual definition of "selling out" as I understand it is that you have bums on every seat. Don't quite see how your response addresses that issue.

season ticket holders didnt turn up....your lot still giving away free tickets at tesco when you buy a fiver of fuel

As I've already said, bragging about continually selling out a stadium is a bit pointless when it's as small as yours... Well, I say "yours"...

:laughing6:

Last season 17 of 19 games were over 20k :laughing6:

I'm not bragging about us selling out our stadium Baz, just providing the facts to prove your statements wrong :thumbright:

The fact is, for whatever reason you want to give, you didn't sell out all your home tickets for what was just your 8th (?) home PL game, and this with you being the almighty Capital of sleeping giants as well

Interestingly, it was also your first home game against what might be described as an also ran PL team (bar arguably Newcastle).

So when was the Wigan game when you only sold 19000 ?

Wasn't it your 1st home game in the Prem ?

That was the year before when for that season the away end wasn't configured to reduce the away capacity depending on away tickets required. The following summer it was changed so the away club can request either 1,000 or 2,000. If they take the lower allocation, the segregation is changed so the other 1,000 tickets go on sale to home fans.

Hope this clears things up for you :thumbright:

So the ground wasn't sold out.

Well deduced. The home section was though.

So, you didn't sell out, just like we did. But unlike us you couldn't sell the spare seats because your ground was sh1t (or more technically 'not geared up for it')

Now when things are the same for both clubs you still don't sell out (Stoke/Hull) . Let's not forget we have 35% more capacity.

But of course this mysterious 8000 waiting list will fill your ground (I'd be interested to see some proof of this linked) ? But where were they for Hull and Stoke ?

I'm sure there will be a few more games not selling out next year and you can happily take the p1ss out of us not selling out a 33500 capacity ground while you get 19k in your 21k ground.

I think when it comes to taking the micky out of attendances you are on shitty ground.

Cardiff record attendance 57,000, Swansea record attendance 32,000.

So your stage one of expansion is going to be completed by next August?

8k on a waiting list is bullshit.. A 25k Liberty would be more than enough.

Number 1 is correct. You always have the odd case of season tickets not turning up due to reasons beyond their control so yes 2 could be right aswell. No need to make up our minds, both can apply.

The planning committee aren't happy with the travel plan from what I understand and I'm not surprised tbh as the area around the stadium is gridlocked as it is.

They need to use the railway line that runs right past the stadium and build a station there.

Let's be honest Jacks, it is never going to happen is it. Its your third season in the Premier and its still an application, Huw the Jew doesn't want to spend the money, its all a short term dream for him before you eventually start slipping down the leagues. If he takes any longer, this imaginary 8k waiting list could come and boost our numbers from 33k to 38k, wouldn't that be nice.

Stop your bullshit and blaming the club about not selling the seats ffs as ther are empty seats every home game as there was against man c as I watched it.
Now I know not every season ticket can make every game but hundreds? Come on.
And stop trying to blame away fans not selling out as the days of keeping 1big section of a ground just for away fans has gone and clubs know how many tickets away clubs have weeks in advance in order to sell empty seats.

The lack of professionalism regarding the clubs ticketing systems and ability to rearrange things quickly has already been pointed out.

You were made to look a fool by claiming it was nowhere near a sell out when you were given proof via official club statements that it was.

And how can it be classed a sell out against man city when there are empty seats.
