Good on them I say why is it MPs can get a 11% rise second homes and lots of other benefits for doing f**k all but further destroy not so Great Britain! And firefighters police and the armed forces can't get anything but further staff cuts etc

Nurses being paid up to retire then we have a shortage of nurses and no one skilled to take the jobs the health service in a complete mess when it need not be and there answer is to privatise it YES cos that will work mind!

not a lot of difference between a forces pension and a firefighters pension

both have dangerous jobs you cant really say firefighters dont risk their lives

both pension plans are unsustainable only difference is the fire service has a union the armed forces dont, so the armed forces are forced to accept changes without being able to do anything about it firefighters will go on strike.

I dont live in poverty, ive never claimed the dole, worked most of my life apart from the M.O.D. in the public sector, what i spend is my business because i earned it. my pension contributions have doubled in the last 12 months for the same pension.
im ok with money and life............but i think of others.........i will be helping the salvation army on christmas day.with my children and wife..feeding the old aged and homeless.............what will yo be doing.

your nuclear weapons argument is a load of rubbish this government cut 1000's of military jobs not because of nuclear weapons its because this government dont know what they are doing. We havent got any aircraft carriers to put aircraft on again not because of nuclear weapons its because the MOD dont know what they are doing. For the last 12 years we have been fighting a ground war and in that time to pay for it the government tore apart the Royal Navy from 1975-2000 the government cut the RN in half since 2001 to present they cut it in half again. In that time there has been no increase in nuclear procurement.

the NHS will always need managers and these managers are public sector workers shouldnt you be worried about them losing their jobs
