It'll mean you and I will be even worse off than we are now, when will the government learn that charity begins at home and start looking out for our countries interests before others, the health service should be high priority for our government as should other emergency services who save lives daily yet all we see is cuts cuts cuts but MPS can get 11% more a year bankers continue to receive ridiculous bonuses this country is highly fucked up

Ye because MPs do nothing. You'd still be in a hole living off bark if it wasn't for an intelligent higher class. I know my place, I couldn't be a politician.

It's Labours fault for making people think they are entitled to an easy life. Handing out blank checks. If it wasn't for mongs in Wales, Ireland and Scotland, England would have a majority Conservative government every time. Oh wait, we are suppressed Welshman than are shit on by the Tories. Tell me that when you're handing out Ipads on Xmas day...... :happy1: No one would work down a mine nowadays, no one.

Labour and their pile of shit, completely over the top workers rights have ruined our country. Employees mincing about because they know they can throw a lawsuit at their employers with help from the state. If they lose, so what? Cost them nothing, just the tax payer.

Employers are always the evils one though aren't they?. Employees would shit themselves if they saw how much corporation tax you have to pay.

The whole point is they are looking out for themselves rather than society. A pathetic example of how self centred and ENTITLED Labour has made us via UNIONS.

One thing for sure fella......you would not have lasted 5mins down the pit......and i would not want to be in a trench with you either.

Another point of information......it's not a nice job to be first on the scene at car crashes, cutting folk out of wreckages, sometimes having to retrieve body parts, it's not always about putting fires out....I couldn't do what our brave firemen do.

All about pensions and retirement age. Greedy fuckers. They do nothing most of the time anyway and when they attend a fire they have to fill in a health and safety risk assessment by which time they've all read it and signed it the bloody building is raised to the floor.

greedy fuckers and before anyone says they put their lifes at risk then think of British soldiers who go out on patrol and be shot and they are paid peanuts, they are heros not firemen.

What utter ignorance.

So they should retire at 65 like the rest of us then.......hope you or your kids arent in a fire a have 64 yr old pensioner scale a ladder to try and rescue you.

They have to keep themselves fit or face the sack, they've had it easy to long.
Shape up or ship out.

So we expect to see 65 rising to 70 before retiring? How about ground workers digging trenches? The poor sods will need a step ladder just to climb down and that'll probably take them an hour.

Poor bloody firemen, my heart bleeds, not!

bit daft that

not a lot of difference between a forces pension and a firefighters pension

both have dangerous jobs you cant really say firefighters dont risk their lives

both pension plans are unsustainable only difference is the fire service has a union the armed forces dont, so the armed forces are forced to accept changes without being able to do anything about it firefighters will go on strike.

Yes like the firemen in New York......they were the same till they were asked to climb 75 floors, passing everyone coming down......to try and put out a fire.Sadly many of them are no longer with us.

thats a bit out there

but I suppose it didnt help your argument does it

nothing was mentioned about aid youve thrown that in for no reason

New York firefighters can be used in this debate because they are firefighters and is a good show of how dangerous their job can be.

As per usual your just making statements without any real purpose behind them

We seem to find money for wars
they found billions to defeat the unions
we own 85% of a bank making billions in profit now
make the rich pay their tax
make the self employed pay their tax
make private companies pay the correct corporation tax
get the sroungers off the welfare state
keep imigration to people who are going to work like austrailia
dont waste billions on nuclear weapons we will never use
streamline the public service sector with less managers
streamline the nhs bring back matron /drop manager

Probably getting drunk.

Well done, more than I will be doing.

It is those exact opinions that have kept Wales behind for years. 'The Tories are against' :( Labour could put Ian Watkins up for election and he'd gain a majority in Wales. The majority have zero idea who they are voting for. Selfish voting. They keep going on about the upper class being greedy, yet they vote for the party will give them the most freebies. Free fuel!!! Vote vote vote. Even though it has to be paid for :P

No wonder Wales is behind Mexico for literacy. Don't bother trying to do well in school, the same bitter generation that grew up with you will demand you pay enough tax so you are on equal pay.

I'm not rich whatsoever, but Wales is an absolute embarrassment and it will never change until the generations that lived through mines die off so people can actually have an opinion, instead of rehashing ideas driven into them by their parents.

I've heard enough working class sob stories for a lifetime. It's your life, no ones else.

Ha ha ha. i pay tax direct out of my wages, same as national insurance.
many of the rich and self employed fiddle expeses, claim for anything they can, use cash to avoid VAT and many large companies avoid corporation tax at its correct level by threatening to pull out of this country.

your nuclear weapons argument is a load of rubbish this government cut 1000's of military jobs not because of nuclear weapons its because this government dont know what they are doing. We havent got any aircraft carriers to put aircraft on again not because of nuclear weapons its because the MOD dont know what they are doing. For the last 12 years we have been fighting a ground war and in that time to pay for it the government tore apart the Royal Navy from 1975-2000 the government cut the RN in half since 2001 to present they cut it in half again. In that time there has been no increase in nuclear procurement.

the NHS will always need managers and these managers are public sector workers shouldnt you be worried about them losing their jobs

if people claim benefits and refuse to work when nothing is wrong they are breaking the law

if my local builder doesnt pay taxes he breaks the law

have a good christmas
