It will be the jack cup final when we turn up at yours too.
No matter what you say or do, the build up and atmosphere will be bigger than any other team visiting scumsea this season,
and that is a fact. :D

It really wont.

If you are above us then maybe.... But as it stands we are top 10 and last 32 in Europe, whether we win one league match or not isnt really that important. I said prior to the season id take losing both games as long as we have a good league finish, finish above you and get past the group stages in Europe.

You could win both league games against us and still go down - bet you would swap them to stay up though. And thats the point.

You say top 10 as if your miles ahead its 3 points FFS :laughing6: And yes it will be your cup final when we come to the library! If you lot don't care about Cardiff like you say you don't log out and don't come back till derby day/week

last 32 in Europe :laughing6: :laughing6: not for f*cking long, and you make it sound like you are in the Champions League not the reserves cup winners cup :laughing6:

Three points ahead and after easier fixtures, the double is still on :ayatollah: :malky:

No, i say top 10 as if we are in the top 10 - simple as that. We have amassed the 10th highest points tally in the league - its how it works.

And again, no, it really wont - as much as you want it to be.

It doesn't matter if Swansea are above Cardiff or not come the end of the season our goal is to stay in the league not finish above Swansea, Swansea are the only ones that seem to care whether they finish above us or not.
Our main objective is survival and nothing else

Well there we go then. Thats why it is more important to you... Your ambitions are smaller than ours.

Ill take a 10th placed finish with you guys in a relegation battle in exchange for losing the derbies all day and any day.

The league is more important than a single fixture to those with bigger fish to fry. All you have to do is worry about staying up so every point is vital and the derby is a chance to prove something to the better side (was the same when we were in the championship but the other way around).

But we are in Europe, drawn against Napoli in the last 32 and want to hold on to or maybe push further into the top 10, this single fixture is not as important to us no matter how others may wish to say otherwise. (And i said that prior to the first derby)

I honestly couldn't care what Swansea are doing, i don't support them so i don't care the only thing i care about is the next game

Thats just YOU'RE opinion tho roach come feb 8th we all know it will be the jacks cup final, FACT. Stop living in denial.

Nope its not just my opinion, it is the opinion of most.

7 points and vastly superior goal difference is an awful lot. I don't think you will be above us again for many a year now the league has settled. And as long as that happens, then i couldn't really give a monkeys if you beat us.

Its just the way it is as I said prior to the last derby. Winning a one off game proves nothing - we have both beaten Man City before, what did it achieve? Are we both better than them now? No.

Football is about the season as a whole and i, very happy indeed losing twice to you but being the better side overall

what did it achieve beating man city? 3 points

Relegation is anyone's to lose this season and so far your in that category, You're far from safe!

im talking about the league being settled, not difficult. The top 6 now will probably be the top 6 come the end of the season, the bottom 6 will probably be the bottom 6 come the end of the season and the middle 8 will probably be the middle 8 come seasons end. There will be one or two exceptions but the league is settled and taken shape now, we are pretty much halfway through.

what did it achieve beating man city? 3 points

exactly. That it. They are still better than you, they are still challenging for the title and wouldnt swap that for those 3 points back - fact

Relegation is anyone's to lose this season and so far your in that category, You're far from safe!

we are relatively safe. Our squad is excellent and sit in top 10.

the league is far from settled its only 16 games in FFS!

comparing yourselves to man city   Tbh it is you roach so im not even surprised.

7 points off the bottom 3 with 22 games to go but your safe :laughing6: ok

Re: THE JACKS IT HAS TO BE SAID

Tue Dec 17, 2013 9:32 am

Indeed it is. Settled as in settled down not as in determined. Its halfway through for gods sake of course it has taken shape :laughing6:

Where have I compared us to Man City? I have compared the situation to that of Man City. They wouldnt swap their situation (title challenger and european football) for 3pts against you and neither would we. Where as you might as all you are trying to do is stay up.

I didnt say we were safe, nether are Man United - however the quality of the squad suggests we are fine as we sit in the top 10 (and im mot comparing is to man united before you get all excited, im making the point nobody is safe mathematically - yet quality of the squads suggest who may be safer than others).

Pretty common sense really.

Why not just take a peek at the table it is quite simple to do!
Swansea Town are not currently a top ten team, results are historical fact!
Earlier in the season after our 0-0 draw with Everton, you commented that Cardiff fans were deluded if they believed the Toffeemen were a top 6 team!
Where did they finish last year? Where are they currently?
Keep your arguments consistent!

yes we are. You can only be given a title after a season is complete - which is why Man United are still champions.

Earlier in the season after our 0-0 draw with Everton, you commented that Cardiff fans were deluded if they believed the Toffeemen were a top 6 team!

i have come to the conclusion that they probably are.

no arguments Martyn - just sense.

Re: THE JACKS IT HAS TO BE SAID

Champions is a title earned by winning something! It relates to the year they won it!
10th is not a trophy winning position!
You position is not currently that of a top ten team, just as Manchester United are currently not atop 4 team.
The proof is in the pudding!
