Friends of mine took part in the march and said there was no racist chants and the march was peaceful with about 3 hundred attending.

Just because some of you didnt hear it, doesn't mean it didnt happen, especially if there were 300 marching, there's no way you could hear everything going on.

I agree, but Chuckles doesn't have it in for BU, and he heard it.

People are taking reports (that could be used as constructive criticism) and assuming they are aimed to damage the group

They aren't, take the advice on board and just deal with the minorities...

The problem is nobody else heard it.There seems a lot of backstabbing towards Bu the last few days.

From day one we have tried to arrange a meeting with the club to discuss our views, their views and to seek reasons behind the total rebrand of our club. I have had numerous email correspondence with Tom Gorringe but as yet we have been unable to arrange getting around the table with the club. If hasn't returned any of my calls or emails for the last couple of weeks or so. We will not give up trying. There appears to be a lot of name calling and sniping going on through these threads which really doesn't put this message board in a good light
Our marches have all passed peacefully with not one arrest and to be honest the only complaints against us have come from the various message boards and certainly not the police. I was at all elements of the protest on Sunday and heard no racist remarks, we weren't heavily policed that any racist oundertones would have been dealt with by the authorities. In fact the only racist chants I heard were aimed at the English based man utd players by the majority of the crowd, this is generally called football banter though. I wonder did anyone stop to think if the English based players construed this as racism and were upset by it? I love football banter and sometimes things are said but not meant by an individual or two. Also I read that we had been drinking prior to the March, now I might be wrong but I reckon maybe one or two other people outside of BU had a pint or two before the game. I come on here under my own name and will not behind and alias OR TWO. Hopefully I have answered one or two questions and I would urge anyone who saw or heard anything totally untoward and criminal to pass on this information along with supporting evidence to us at BU via a private message so we can disassociate ourselves with the culprits.

Please don't use this post as an opportunity to slate me, I came on here to try and answer some questions as best I can.

I've already done so. :thumbright:

I couldn't care less who heard it - I've passed on my opinions of the events on Sunday & they have been taken seriously by BU.

The other day you were slating BU, now you are defending them - you must just enjoy the drama.

Couldn't have been. Can't use the crest of CCFC on it.

Although I agree a the message should have been on there.

It's impossible to predict what the plans of a new owner will be and at some point, unless Tan, totally destroys the club, eventually there will be a new owner. That is a certainty. Tan is here for a finite amount of time.

What I do know, is that Cardiff City is as saleable an asset as it has been for many years. Look at the sales spec: Premier League club, huge catchment area, new modern stadium designed for easy expansion, capacity crowds and a sizeable waiting list for season tickets, only a couple of hours from London so attractive when targeting new players. The list could go on. The prospectus is an attractive one.

Of course there are no guarantees as regards the intentions of a potential new owner. On the flipside, the man currently steering Cardiff City has trampled over the club's traditional identity with absolutely no regard for the feelings of the supporters and has undermined the position of the football club's best manager in generations. The same man has also done little to quash continued speculation over the future of the very name of the football club. It would be churlish not to acknowledge the positive aspects of Tan's reign too but aside from what is inevitably transient success on the pitch, Vincent Tan exemplifies much that is wrong with totally out of touch football club owners.

On that basis, yes I'd like Tan to sell up. The thought of 'Tan Out' appears to represent militancy in many peoples minds. The reality is, all it means is actively encouraging Vincent Tan to find a buyer. Nothing more, nothing less. Now, i would say that there is a far larger percentage of Cardiff City fans that would actually like to see Tan move on, than are actually prepared to admit it publicly.

Those, are of course, just my opinions. I believe that BU have done the right thing by not coming out and issuing a direct call of 'Tan Out.' They are doing the things in the correct manner, as far as I'm concerned, by watching carefully as events unfold. The irony is that had BU been in a position (which logistically was impossible) to organise an event in the immediate wake of 'Moodygate' then nobody would have even questioned 'Tan Out' sentiments anyway because the prevailing mood was for Tan to sell the club on.
