the march looks pathetic

I was at the March yesterday and yes I admit our number were low, to low in fact and to me that shows people are starting to stop caring about our colour change and the destruction of our identity. Hopefully when we go the way of Hull and there's the indignity of a name change people will come out in support of the old Cardiff City. As for climbing on the statue, does anyone have pictures of this as I was there and never saw this happening and BU strongly opposes this behaviour. From the statue around 100 or so of us made our feelings known at the front doors of the club. Whilst we were there no arrests were made and there wasn't a hint of trouble in debt we spent a lot of time laughing and joking with the stewards and police in between singing pro blue songs. No complaints were made to the many police and stewards that were present. I didn't hear anything insulting being said to fellow city fans by the BU supporters apart from a bit of banter which I've always thought was normal at football. Unless of course banter is no longer allowed!! After the game we held a small protest in block 115. During that protest one of our members was hit by an elderly man in a red shirt and in the process of that he also struck a child. Very nice!!! We were also abused and even spat at, this was the only abuse and thuggish behaviour I saw being dished out, but I suppose that's acceptable is it as it's against bluebirds unite?

I was by the front doors when you lot of teenage twats started chanting at those young kids "your only here for united" and let me tell you sunshine, it was not banter. The "ringleader" of them was about 18 with cropped dark blonde hair and was almost foaming at the mouth in anger toward them. It was disgusting and you lot have done nothing but harm to Sian and BU, who started this off with the best of intentions and ruined by nothing me than wannabe hooligans who want a name for themselves.

I agree. I liked what BU stood for and suported their methods. After reading about yesterdays march and seeing the photos which also contained the middle-aged couple that threatened me with violence & verbally abused me at the Swansea game because I asked them to lower their Tan Out flag from my eye line so I could watch the game - I have lost faith in them as a group.

Sian and the committee need to oust these trouble makers but it may be too late for them.

Todays poor turnout for their big march,about 150 signaled the end of Bu.
I gave them till Christmas,it's November 24th so only a month out and they've only themselves to blame.

There was more than 150, but I fear thats the end of the chance of getting blue back.

The likes of RedorDead, Pembroke Alan, Bluebird since 1748 etc really have killed it.

Also, Annis and Carl not joining in. I'm sorry, I've read Carl's pro-blue stuff in the press, but he was needed today on the march, not stood outside with a pint in his hand.

It's a shame that people who want this same thing can't find the way to work together to achieve it. There was no other organised opposition to re-brand but BU.

There was about 300 people at the march and Carl was actually cheering the march by Ninian Pub.

Anyone who says there were 300 on the march is seriously deluded. I drove past it by the westgate tavern and there was less than a hundred and this was only 100 yards from the start so it hadn't started to "disperse". I want blue back as much as anyone but this isn't the way forward.
