Point gained for me. We were playing away and Norwich battered us. There are no easy games in this league, especially away. It's our home form that matters.

I have a question for all the people who were happy with today's result... Norwich really should have beaten us today by two or three goals. Would you have still been happy with that performance if we'd lost?

Thats an excellent question and deserves its own thread.

However im sure we know the answer already.

There's a difference between being happy with a result and being happy with a performance.

Will it be enough to stay up?

I think that you need to look at Norwich's HOME RECORD before making a statement like the one above.
Since August 2012 Norwich have played 24 home matches - they have won 10 of them including Man. U. and Arsenal. They drew 8 of them including Spurs, Swansea and Everton and the only lost 6 matches against Chelsea (twice), Villa (twice), Liverpool and Man. City. Apart from Villa, only teams who regularly play in the Champions League have beaten Norwich at home in their last 24 home matches. Do you rate us as a Champions League team? I don't, but I rate us as a mid table team who I'll bet to beat the Norwich's of this world because I'm an optimist ( my heart rules my head when betting ), but I expected a draw.

Some valid points there, but this season they are bottom 3 and we need to beat teams beneath us do we not?

If the game was at home, then yes I would agree, but away from home it is a point gained. Only 6 teams got more than 5 wins away from home in last season's Premier (Everton wasn't one of them, so I'm sure you can guess the six clubs), so when coupled with Norwich's home form over the previous 24 matches, then a draw was a good result.

Last season was last seasons form at home for Norwich, we have to beat these type of teams if we are to survive, time will tell.

We've just started in this league and got another point today. Keep the faith! :ayatollah:

Yes but we had championship players not with ££££ price tags over their heads!

Championship players playing in the PL - we don't have much quality, and we have to play ugly football to fight for the scraps at the foot of the PL Table. It's 1 point closer to survival - that's reality!!!

Well this season they are even better at home than last year when looking at the same fixtures. They lost to Villa and Chelsea both seasons, drew with Everton both seasons, but beat Southampton this season yet only drew last season.

We'll play much better than today and lose, but after nine games its still a learning curve. We're tough to beat but definitely need some creative spark, but these things take time

Of all the other newly promoted sides the last ten years I'm sure the stats will be favourable to us compared to everybody else's starts to a new campaign. Plenty of time and room for improvement

And all these other newly promoted sides blew the best part of £40m as well of course :thumbright:

Why don't you just bugger off to your own site you parasite.

Feel free to put me on ignore if you don't want to read my posts Gareth. The option is there for you.

And the option is also there for you to f**k off.

Just saying as I see it. I have no affiliation to people just because they support the same side as ive said many a time. You are balanced in your views and dont stand for bullshit. I like that :thumbright:
