Seems Laudrups not all that convinced yet himself.

We're not playing Michu up front instead of him though :?

Roathie claims Bony only started 4 of the 8 league games.
Who was upfront for the other 4? Lee Trundle?

When Bony has not started it has usually been due to coming off an international break when he's been away with Ivory Coast, not because we're selecting Michu up front ahead of him.

So Michu has started as many league games upfront for you this season as he has in attacking midfield?

ndeed. You seem to think that makes him a striker though. It doesn't.
It makes him the best available option for when Bony isn't fit to start. Although recently Bony has been starting on a regular basis.

Isnt fit to start

Laudrup preffering Michu upfront more like.

Because he has been carrying an ankle injury and not fit enough to start you pleb. As for liars, you still havent told us how Canas was 4th choice captain at betis

Swansea City skipper Ashley Williams heads a list of five players who have not travelled to Romania for tomorrow night's Europa League clash with Petrolul Ploiesti.

Willimas (knee), Wilfired Bony (ankle) and Jonjo Shelvey (knee) will all miss the second leg of the European play-off tie, with the Swans leading 5-1 from the first leg.

No, as I said it's generally when Bony has been away on international duty. We also have a squad rotation policy in place as we are in Europe.

But you carry on believing what you want.

Exactly

What a weird thing for them to argue against :?

Who cares what his supposed position is if he plays upfront and gets them goals all well and good for them.

Its just one big sidetrack to try and deflect away from the fact Bony is a 12m dud.

What do you mean who cares? Its the whole debate Einstein

So coz he is a good player in many positions, hes the position that suits you?

Hes a midfielder. End of.

(I find it hilarious you describe Bony as a dud and laud Medel :laughing6: )

Isn't he an attacking midfielder / striker?
Doesn't have to be one or the other does it?

Re: Wilfred bony

The debate is Bony. You derailed it to Michu to deflect away from Bony being outed as a lazy useless carthorse

Nope you are wrong again. The thread was about Bony. However when coming to his price tag I made the comment that it doesnt matter as long as he scores. This then prompted Bobby to say Trundle didnt cost £13m, to which I pointed out that its irrelevant. Michu cost less than Shelvey yet we expect more from Michu.

He then proceeded to call Shelvey a defensive midfielder (which is even more odd) and Michu a striker (which we have seen is also odd)... Upon pointing that out THEN became a debate about their respective postions.

Now about your lying regarding Canas.....

As you were. :laughing6:

Bony is currently a flop.. a long season to go but I expected him to light up the Prem a lot more than he has so far.

Can't remember mentioning them, although I suppose playing against 10 men in a side woefully out of form at the time could qualify them

They were down to 10 men because they couldnt handle him.

You can only score who are are put up against and hes scored 6 goals in 8 starts in all competitions and 2 in 4 starts in the Premier League.

If thats a flop then id shudder to think the reaction of your fans to any players you sign.

You're having a 'mare here. I'd pack up and leave now if I were you :thumbright:

2 goals in 4 PL starts.

7 in 14 overall.

How many goals do you expect a Swansea City striker to be scoring? :?

Re: Wilfred bony

Come on mentioning his goals per games isn't exactly going to back you up, should expect a lot more for 12 million.
