We are Wales. Havent qualified for a tournament since the 50's. we have just drawn away at a top 10 team and the most expensively assembled international team on the planet after getting 3 points at home and beating Scotland home and away. No different to nearly every campaign we have had for the last 60 years barring the odd close call.

I dont know what you are expecting, us to turn into Brazil?

Losing 6-1 against a Serbia side, should never happen showing Coleman's weaknesses, we beat a very poor Scotland side (who with worse players I believe than wales finish above us),Belgium was a good point, but do u truly believe we would have gained that point if Belgium had already qualified ?,their team played to avoid injuries

Neil Taylor is a bit part player anyway, Steve Morrison too and if I was Williams and Gunter id keep my mouth shut because thanks to their amateur defending weve conceded a record amount of goals this campaign.

I think you've missed my point here. From what I've seen of your posts on here, you are one of the more sensible ones.

There's been a lot of chat about players not turning up for Wales, Coleman not being inspiring and not having a clue. Well, regardless of how well you rate the players or where they rank in the squad, some of them like Ash are speaking on behalf of others. They wouldn't confidently speak that highly of him in public if it wasn't a shared opinion amongst the squad. That's my opinion anyway.

In reality, we've taken 4 points from the last two games when we could easily have lost both, with a very inexperienced and patched up side. The defence especially. Those results show that something is right.

Oh come on fella, Macedonia are shit if we cant take 3 points against the likes of them when we have talent like Aaron Ramsey then there is something wrong. Belgium, were taking the piss the other night, they had already qualified and were strolling about. Even then they had enough chances to hammer us.

I dont think Coleman is any great shakes, his defensive organisation is woeful, he even manages to make Ashley Williams look like a donkey, when he plays for the Jacks he looks a very acomplished defender. But then I think whats the point of replacing him if you are going to pay peanuts then only monkeys will apply for the job.

Sadly we havent got a big benefactor like the Irish FA so we cant go out and employ a quality foreign coach who could get us more organised and tuned in for international football which is a shame as this is the best bunch of players weve had since the early 90s.

though it pains me to say it , sense at last

Colemans record is shit! roath going on about how good he was at fulham the reason he got sacked is he lost his last 7 games :thumbright:

We beat scotland home and away and they still manage to finish above us  before our last 2 games we were ranked 84th, we beat a average marcedonia team and drew with a good belgium team who have already qualified, probably would of lost if it weren't for hennessy, IMO with that squad of players he should of done much better.

Actually his record with Fulham isnt that bad he got a win rate of 34% which 1 win in 3 in the premiership is not bad for a smaller club like Fulham. To finish 9th in his first full season is pretty good I would say, especially as they were tipped for th drop. 4 years under a loon like Al Fayed, not bad going.

Its only Coventry his record is really poor if we are totally honest.

Hes not the world beater Roathie is making out but neither is he completely useless as some on here are claiming.

The real reason is like I said he's clueless, most international managers would have no problem getting a top club job,Coleman would struggle to get a job conference level, fact

Wtf

Remind me where he was managing before???

The premier league where he was a success at fulham, the segunda division and la liga where he was a success at Sociadad, a poor spell at Coventry in the Championship and an incredibly successful spell in Cyprus.

Successful at every club lol, another delusional jack, the guy is on £100,000 a year,in football that's peanuts,if he had an opportunity to manage a club side,he'd be gone like a shot, the only reason he's still managing wales is because,he's never had a offer
his last job,o yes that massive club, erm what country and what were they called?,a bit like park football,no manager with any credibility would have taken a job on like that

He was indeed, apart from Coventry.

In his last job the fans set up road blocks and protested at the rumours of his resignation (after a row woth the owner). He had won 14 of his 20 games only losing 2. Immediately after his departure the club lost 9 of its next 12 games. :thumbright:

Larissa in Cyprus. As i said, he was adored and won 14 of their 20 games losing just 2. Immediately after his departure the club lost 9 of 12.

If he failed at Larissa you would have a point. The fact is hes succeeded at every job bar one, and that was a Coventry side in utter turmoil that im not even sure Mourinho himself could have sorted out.

Its all well and good to bash Coleman, but at least make it for a reason of failing... Not succeeding

Roath

Are you a football pundit like this delusional idiot? :D :D :D

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/24550198

Coleman has had a go & failed badly, why reward abject failure & he can take that oaf Hartson with him

Wales have got a fantastic chance to qualify for Euro 2016 & we will fail with that imbecile & his drinking buddies in charge.

All players come out in support of a current manager

I know it's pathetic but at the end of the day wales should neither have a jack or bluebird coaching the team, because fans from each team will not watch Wales while a rival fan is at the helm, sad but true. The games also need to be played at the millennium because I know boys who will not put a foot in he liberty and vice versa.

Re: Wales up to 44th in World Rankings

Pointless discussion.

For every Bale you'll have a Fon Williams with Wales. If we dould't do it for 88, 90, 92 or 94, we'll never have a hope.

That's not even mentioning the 82 campaign, when we couldn't even beat Iceland at the jacks' place.

Nothing to do with Coleman being a jack,he's just clueless with tactics,as for the millennium stadium,we can't fill any staduim, never mind the millennium, financially it would be impossible

His record with club sides is not all that impressive in my opinion a total of 108 wins from 326 games

A pitiful record and you only have to look at all the top class clubs banging down his door (none) to know how well he is rated.

However as I have pointed out and even Roath has, it doesn't matter if you'd have Hiddink if the players ain't there.

I would give the job to Barry Horne, who is currently director of football at one of the best schools in chester.

You could probably save some money then, too. An added bonus, if you will.

don't think he would have the necessary badges , apart from that has no coaching experience (or did he do a bit shortly after retiring?) and hasn't really been involved in top football for years but would defo have the respect of the players

We could do with Ian rush at this point, but on the pitch! If we had a decent striker we would be a very competitive side.

Waddle has a point. I was very sceptic of Coleman and I still am BUT who else is there? Best thing we can do is all get behind him for the next campaign whether you like him or not. Get behind the players and be positive because moaning will do nothing. I am backing Coleman, still don't know whether or not he's the man for the job but who else is there?

Also get rid of all Colemans mates, his job for the boys attitude stinks to me. Hartson needs to go he is a liability. Bring in Pulis on a part time basis, he would sort our defence right out and I imagine he would be great to have in the dressing room.

Slag him off all you want for his style of football it worked with Stoke and he's a top manager. Would be a superb assistant and I think he would take on the role if he was allowed to do other work as well.

Agreed. Everyone bashes on Pulis because Stoke were a perceived long ball team.

Not strictly true though. What they were was a v. disciplined pressing team.
