I have no arguments against a season ticket who went to six aways last season getting priority for Aston Villa, what I didn't understand was why didn't the club then drop it to five, four aways etc. I found it very unfair that a gold member who had been to two away games this year could have a crack at getting Villa tickets! I went to Bristol, Charlton, Bolton, Wolves and Burnley (as well as being a season ticket holder) last season to be outweighed by a £40 gold member who's been to Fulham and Chelsea!
a gold member can not qualify for Vlla with Chelsea.........you need 6 from last year to qualify Chelsea, so therefore if you go to Chelsea you go to Villa.............not that the figures add up, but eh oh

AWAY MATCHES
I agree with you mate I've been a season ticket holder for 20 odd years been to loads of away games in the past, did not go to many last here but I did go to a few , Could not get tickets to a few games last year went in the home end and watched the game. Every game is a away game for me , I can't get down to cardiff to que for tickets to far away, waste of time on the phone , and can't get tickets this season so it's not looking bright for me next season . Wonder if go back down will these glory hunters still be here I've seen sum crap over the years, But IAM not going to shit on as an ambassador I expect a bit of loyalty back becareful city.![]()
Cardiff City Football Club operates a strict away travel membership.
To travel to any away fixture you must hold one of the following: Ambassador card, Season Ticket card or an Away Travel Card.
· The Club's supporters are allocated tickets for away matches as follows. The club will give priority to Ambassadors, then season ticket holders and away travel members.

The problem with the above is that tickets for 'this seasons away attended matches' have gone to people who attended last season, so exactly the same people getting the allocation.

we all new last season that we needed to go to away games to qualify for this season (the same as every season) so WHY change it at this stage of the season ?? pathetic !
I also don't want to jump any que just placed inline fairly ?!!
I have gone from being able to purchase a Norwich ticket to not being able to purchase an away ticket for the foreseeable future .. IS THAT RIGHT ??????
I went to 19 aways last year, and every one so far this year. I couldn't get a Norwich ticket because I don't travel on the bus, but you seem to have got one (as you can't get a villa ticket I assume you've not done many aways, sorry if I'm wrong). Now, is that right?? I'm going to miss the game, but i guarantee there will be someone there who hasn't been away with City before.
Not having a go, as the club got the restrictions wrong, so you have as much right to a ticket as me. However I am very angry that I'm missing a game I wanted to go to, when I would have qualified under whatever restrictions the club had decided to impose. But the travel clubs advised them against any restrictions as apparently THEY hadn't had much interest, then promptly gobbled up all the tickets themselves.
There absolutely has to be some criteria set for away tickets so the people who travel away regularly get the chance to buy them if they want. However, what certainly shouldn't happen is that people going on the bus get to preorder tickets and automatically get them when they go on sale, when the rest of us having to feed off the scraps. Everyone should have the same chance to buy a ticket. If the bus organisers aren't happy with that then they need to have a look at how the manage their bookings. I don't have the ability to call up the club and say "please reserve me a man Utd away ticket" so why should they??
