No he didn't.

What happened then?

I remember some of the jacks in work saying he had been called up but didn't end up travelling as he was injured, I guess they were wrong.

Taylor is fit, although lacking match fitness as he's behind Davies in the pecking order.

If you want to trawl back to last season where, as you know we had the cigars out from March on yet still finished 9th, yes.

Again, last season has no relevance to this season whatsoever. I'm more than happy with how we're playing this season and given a bit of luck today, we'd now be on 10 points.

In fact we're ahead of last seasons points total on results against respective opponents :thumbright:

Allan and I dont agree with that much, but I have to agree with your post as I have said all along, good luck to the Jacks in the Europa League, keeping getting more games as soon or later it will tell on your squad and hurt you in the Premier League.

The difference to previous games was they had harder game this week compared to previous games and that will continue as get further into competition! So problem will persist,

When comparing direct results against an opponent, of course it is.

When picking a subjective point in time from when to select a run of results, of course it isn't.

This cup will have helped Swansea early on, as they had to be ready to start earlier Thame the rest of the Premirship and will have had more competitive games early in the season, especially the first month.

Think of the intertoto teams they used to come out of the blocks flying and then fade, the same will happen to Swansea (except they came out of the blocks fairly slowly.

This cup may be fun for them, but it will definately take it's toll and cost them many premiership points, the same for Spurs.

Come to think of it maybe that why they had started so well, and seemed to be much bette than last year mind you the £100 million spent in the transfer window must have helped too .......

Yeah, of course it is. You keep telling yourself that

30 games is a lengthy run and the point was to dismiss the myth that the cup suddenly affected your form when in fact it was already suffering.

Only stating a fact, don't get all twisted an snarly.
