I didn't question what they do, I questioned how it helps the team, which is what was claimed.

I've explained this about 6 times now.. Thought you may have understood by now.

I understand exactly what you do, you dont have to explain anything to me

so what if it does so what if it doesnt what exactly has it got to do with you?

Dear me.. I haven't mocked him for it. If you feel I have, please come up with a quote. I've already asked you this 4 times mind.

It was a question of how does it support the team as I don't feel it does. It doesn't even involve you, don't know why you've got so upset. :laughing5:

What are you babbling on about now. I've never said it was a waste of time... You keep making things up & it's making you look daft.

I just don't see how it helps the team more by being there earlier.. Simple as that.

youve picked on one sentence ti ridicule another poster because he dared to give an alternative to the BU meeting
differnce being now instead of doig all this nonsense with him your doing it with me so I doubt you really care who youre talking to

the only troll in this thread is you.. Jumping straight on someone's question to another poster and abusing that person for absolutely no reason and derailing the thread in the process. That's the only trolling here.

arriving at the ground early before the meeting ends and cheering would be daft as the players wouldn't even be out warming up. again, I've ridiculed nobody & you've been asked to provide a quote of me doing so several times and you cannot do it.. Simply because I haven't.

I've already explained.

Posting first doesn't make you exempt from being a troll...

You've jumped on my post and started throwing abuse to me whilst doing it & attempted to totally derail the thread to argue with me.

As I've said before.. That's the only trolling that has happened in this thread & it's all from you..

That's fine & it's my opinion that going earlier doesn't help the team... But you suddenly can't accept others opinions when it comes to me? :laughing6:

You've derailed this thread & abused members who disagree with you... That's more the judge of trolling behaviour over smilies and post count.

ive never trolled in my life I heavily resent the implication and find it rather offensive

you however are a broken record repeating the same old shit over and over again trying to give yourself an ounce of credibility

im bored now fed up and sick and tired of you

Re: Bluebirds Unite Meeting 05/10/13

You've never trolled... Until tonight. When you abused a member for asking a question & in doing so, totally derailed the topic... The clear actions of a troll.

I'm repeating the same thing over and over because it appears you aren't capable of taking in what I'm saying without making up quotes in your head and linking them to me & every time you've been asked for evidence, you've failed to provide any.

okay, night then.

Another thead ruined

Re: Bluebirds Unite Meeting 05/10/13

Rarely do i stick with a thread like this, but I have on this occasion to try and work out the logic behind it. People are pointing out that the board is being destroyed from within and posts like this show why.

What has anyone gained or proven from this whole debate, has anyone gained or fell they have won, or are the better for it, find it all a bit sad in truth, but hey we are all different, it's just sad that so many decent posters now look elsewhere for their football and fun fix.

The thing I compare it to is speakers corner in Hyde Park, when I was in college in London, Sunday morning in speakers corner was the highlight of the week, don't know now if it even exists, it got destroyed by hecklers/trolls who simply set out to destroy every speakers point of view or debate topic.

Instead of healthy often funny debate that it was known for, speakers just gave up and the whole thing ground to a halt, the heckler/trolls had won, but what a hollow victory, they would still turn up waiting for a speaker to stand on his box and debate until no speakers could be bothered and you'd have a load of trolls sitting there victorious but bored shitless.
Perhaps that is how things are meant to work. :old:

I thought BU had done it, apologies.

Same as all the rest until someone does a real petition from Cardiff fans and them using fans numbers it seems pointless to me.

That's more than a tad harsh.3 well attended entirely peaceful events. A well attended, well behaved, respectful march and a non offensive billboard. Other than a handful of WUM's and idiots on Facebook, I can't, for the life of me, see what anyone can have against this group.

My understanding is still that the majority of Cardiff City supporters would like to see our traditional identity restored. With that in mind I'd encourage City fans to get behind this group. No one is under any illusions that anything will change in the short term but it's about keeping the message out there for the long term.

It's easy to knock, but these people are giving up a lot of their personal time (and getting a lot of shit and aggro) for something they feel truly passionate about.

I like 99% want blue returned, its just your level of acceptance that varies. Too many smug I am a better fan than you types and the basic tag line if you are not for us you must be plastic, premier league wanting lightweight. TBH apart from a march and meeting a few mates in a Canton pub before a game, I am not sure why the are so pious.

Perception is reality and all that  but I'm genuinely interested in how you formed that opinion. Is it based on how you felt after attending a BU meeting/event or is it from comments on their Facebook site or from other online interactions?

I'm genuinely not fishing, I'm just interested in how an organisation with such unifying aims is so badly perceived in certain quarters. I would also be interested to hear 2blue2handle's opinion on this and, indeed, the views, of anyone else that has a negative perception of this group. A group that on the face of it, 99% of us should be right behind.

Cheers

to be fair im not a big fan of elitism, when the news broke about the rebrand I was angry probably the same as everybody else, when it came to our first home game in red, I was apprehensive about how I would feel and as soon as the game started I just got on with it and my team now play in red, so im not really concerned with it I can still watch Cardiff City and I have bigger battles to fight personally than fight for a football shirt. This is not a go at anyone who wants to fight for blue if you have the time to put the effort in go for it.

What I dont like and I dont suppose its a direct quote from BU but some people who associate themselves with BU do spend a lot of time ridiculing fans who dont fight for blue, calling them plastics and premiership at all costs fans. I dont know any football fan in the English system that doesnt want to see their team in the Premiership why should Cardiff fans feel guilty for that. I dont believe our promotion was tainted or our season so far in the Premiership has been anything but fantastic whatever shirt we play in. I respect anyone who feels different and each to their own but aim your anger at the club not at fellow fans who may feel different to you or just wants to watch football.

If blue comes back great im not about to start a campaign to stay in red, I just want to watch my team play and thats more important to me than a colour.

If colour was important there are plenty of blue teams to pick from. I dont understand the history argument history is history its in the past nobody can change it. Traditions are important and that should be the main focus in my opinion.
