How do you know that Gwyn knew that at the time of sharing it? How can you also go from someone that advocates free speech to someone that now, because it suits your agenda, thinks its wrong sharing said information? If TLG didn't want it to eventually get shared he shouldn't have posted such offensive tripe on a forum in the first instance.

All I was doing, was giving the thread some balance.

All you were doing was manipulating things for your own agenda to take the focus off TLG, who funnily enough, like every other person you ever defend, is a pro blue who wants the traditional kit back. You can't pull the wool over these pupils Alex. I wasn't born yesterday and neither were most on this forum. We know your true motives and they are to discredit Gwyn for doing something you for months have argued for, freedom of speech.

All Gwyn did was share some information. TLG's fault for saying such things in the first instance so stop trying to pass the buck.

Again, where did I say that it shouldn't have been posted? People can post what the want, but I find the whole WI meeting gossip rather tedious and embarrassing, frankly.

& by posting a further update and closure on the thread, that's manipulating things?!

Oh get a grip. You're going on ignore.

You have to remember that the sugar monster is CONSTANTLY being abused and goaded by strangers online. i think even he's allowed a faux pas from time to time, but i must say if i was old enough to dress myself and pay to watch a football match, i would feel a bit patronised by somebody implying that i was too frail and 'dotty' to have my ethics cricised as some posters have done on here.

Yes and it seems it was dealt with by the moderators of that board and he has issued a written apology, i didn't agree in what he said as much as the next person but its been dealt with, why drag it on?

Im not. My points made were towards Chuckles who advocates free speech mostly but then when it comes to his beloved pro blues who can do no wrong and are angelic he doesn't believe in free speech all of a sudden.

He has now had a hissy fit and put me on ignore for it. Oh well, I'll happily watch a red Cardiff City whilst he sheds plenty of tears over the colour blue. I know which one of us will have the better weekend.

We all have and are entitled to our opinions on the rebrand personally I hate it but my love of Cardiff city over rides everything and the bottom line is these two old dears are supporting Cardiff City and the current colours our Club has chosen!

At times many of us seem to forget that we all support the SAME Club never mind what views we have or colour we wear :old: :ayatollah:

The comments I made were out of order and inappropriate. I apologised to Mark publicly on this board and personally via PM - an apology he accepted. The moderators also quite rightly deleted the comments.

Several hours later, Gwyn Davies posted the comments on AAMB, having obviously copied them when they were on here. He did so with no concern other than merely attempting to score message board points. That is a mark of the man. He is the most disingenuous individual you are ever likely to have the misfortune to encounter.

He's apologised, it's been accepted. It was a wrong thing to do, let's just leave it there.

He apologised  when he put the first post up there and people turned on him, did he apologise then and ask for it to be removed, did he f**k, he cam back with at least another four insulting posts regarding these two ladies.
Now we have all said things we may not mean in the heat of the moment, but to stand by them and even add more over the next few hours until realising how out of step with humanity he really was, and then apologise, so in your eyes that is OK.

Where did I say it was okay? I didn't, he's wrong and now accepts this. His family have accepted this too, so why cannot you? It has absolutely nothing to do with you after all?

When you got into a scuffle in Scotland regarding the rebrand & subsequently apologised for being wrong, everyone accepted that and moved on. This is very similar.

I also think that comparing this incident to Jimmy Saville on the other board is rather ridiculous too, but there we go.

Freedom of speech is one thing, but if you make a statement that may be unlawful. illegal or in bad taste, then if there is any comeback you have to pay the price.

You can't go on any website and rag about pedophilia, or owning a gun etc and not accept the punishment, so yeh free speech, but live with the consequences, and you Adam should know more than enough about that, surely you have the records of all yu fines and press humiliation for some of the barmy things you have said previously. ;)

There was no scuffle, the police were watching it, if there had been s scuffle one or both of us would have been arrested.
I had words with a bloke who i thoroughly dislike and the feeling is quite mutual, is opening words to me were "what's your problem" now in Chuckle land that may seem like a reasonable question, but where I live that means, we are going to have a scrap. Now that bloke is six foot two and been described by his own former mates and 1927 club members as a bully. so perhaps he got out bullied on this occasion.

I haven't apologised to that knob, that is the last thing on my mind, I did apologise to Matt Gabb who was with him, I was under the impression he was smirking and over reacted and told him to get out of my face, no contact, no scuffle, a bit like my threats to bury everyone you kept repeating for months until even you had to accept they had never been made by me.

As for the Jimmy Saville thing, I'm not comparing the two things, but your attitude of he's apolgised, so everything is now Ok, is total bollox, do you think the people Jimmy Saville (as just one example) abused would think it Ok, if he just apologised?

You live in a strange world, do you need a permit to live in Chuckleville. ;)
