Of course we would take many more than you to Valencia. At least treble

Your ticket sales are pretty shocking. Motherwell took as many to Levante last year

So you only go if its a nice place against a good club?

You support the club not the opposition. The premier league is a bigger competition yet you dont sell out in a weekend that would cost £90 all in all, yet reckon you would sell out 3,000 going to spain midweek taking time off work at the cost of a season ticket

Sell out your league games and we will talk then

 aye ok. Course you would.

You didnt even sell out your play off against west ham to get into the prem for the first time in half a century... Well in fact, first time ever

Isn't that EXACTLY what happened in your last European game? A handful of fans there... Yet 3k to Spain?

Another bizarre comparison from the freakish mind of the lonely jack

Due to us selling 25,000 instead of 26,000 for a game a few years ago, that would mean that we couldn't possibly take 3,000 to the Mestalla for a dream tie in Spain several years later

You're the Floyd Mayweather of talking absolute shit

No.

Romania is more expensive to get to, the hround harder to get to, it was a qualifier and we had already won.

It means if you only have 24,000 fans willing to go to one of the most important games in your recent history then it would mean that your fan base probably wont be chomping at the bit to pay £400 to go to a midweek game abroad which is less important than the two games its sandwiched by.

I guess we will have to agree to differ until you get there. We can live in hope i guess :laughing6:

As you say, support the team - not the opposition.

Jacks are just as guilty of "only going if its a nice place and a good club" as EVERY other football club's fans.

Otherwise, we would have sold out Hull & you lot would have taken more than a handful to a European tie.

In our first season in the Prem we sold out nearly every away game, be it Wigan or Man United. The ones we didnt were the harder ones to get to (newcastle, sunderland, mid week etc).

A qualifier we had already won in a place difficult and expensive to get to, is not the same as a group stage match in Spain. However I see not much difference between a Prem match in Hull and a Prem match in Liverpool for example.

The mind of a simple singleton :laughing6:

We had a full house for every other big game at the CCS. Leicester, Palace and the three already this season. The West Ham game was severely a one-off in our wonderful progression. Extra seats to cope with demand going in a rate of knots, and next season the majority of games will be seen by more than 30,000 Cardiff fans

and no, I don't expect us to qualify for the Europa league this season, but it won't be long, and if you got there it can't be that hard can it. You beauts made that type of comment about us not getting to the premier league.

How are those comments working out for you?

You can't see much of a difference between a trip to Liverpool or Hull

You're out-doing yourself on this thread

Make all the excuses you like but you said it yourself, support the club & not the opposition.

You criticise our club for not selling out at hull, when your club only took a handful of fans away to a European tie just a week before.

Maybe you should start telling the Jacks to "support the club & not the opposition" too?

You are missing the point completely, maybe intentionally, but missing it all the same. Logistics and competition is what im saying, that and quality of side are completely different.

The Petrolul game was a qualifier we had already won that was hard to get to amd expensive for what was largely an irrelevant game (irrelevant of opposition, it could have been Bucharest and the attendance wouldnt have altered much). The valencia trip is in a far easier place to get to and at better stage of competition. It could be any team in Spain and the attendance would be the same.

Im willing to bet there wont be much difference between the % of allocation sold to Valencia and St Gallen. The logistics of the two teams are similar, easy to get to and both at group stage level, yet one side massive compared to the other. So opposition is irrelevant.

You, or whoever said it, reckon you would sell more against valencia. I dont. We will never know until you play them. In my opinion you should be selling out in your first season against teams like hull - we did.

Not at all, you can give all the excuses that you like, but that paltry attendance proves that Swansea fans are just like every other fan in the country.

No you didn't, you've just said yourself that you didn't sell out every game. :laughing6:

Anyway, I've made my point.

We took more than you to Liege when in Division 3 than you're taking to Valencia in the premier league

So you are ignoring everything ive said and deciding to make up what im saying instead

We didnt sell out every game due to logistics (newcastle, sunderland) and midweek games (work commitments). A weekend game in hull does not come under that bracket, we sold out against the equivalent at the time (Norwich). Opposition was irrelevant, where it was situated and the difficulty in getting there was the issue.

A pn irrelevant qualifier in Romania we had already won is not the same as a group stage match in Spain. You are off on your nonsense again. The two easily accessible group stage games (valencia and st gallen) will, in my opinion, have the same sort of away following - allocation permitted. Yet the size of clubs is vastly different, this is due to logistics and them both being at the same level without a ore determined result.

We sold out all our easily accessible games in our first season in the prem regardless of opposition, you failed at the second attempt.

Benidorm full of Jacks not sure who started this rumour! I guess most people were bright enough to work out it was cheaper to find your own hotel and flight. These psuedo official travel sites are not organised by the club and are just an attempt ro rip off the public.
