I remember they said the same last season, work is due to start next summer pmsl the council will not approve the expansion for 1, because swansea do not have the facilities and the community have been complaining about people parking their cars outside their homes, there just is not enough space to support the extra crowd. And for 2 little old huw knows that swansea would struggle to fill a 30k stadium and when they get relegated there will be a half empty stadium.

Surely if there is any concrete plans for expansion, it would have been reported by now, like ours have. All we've had so far is that Swansea are looking into it.

I think it was 46k we took to wembley which of course was sold out, im pretty sure we didnt sell out to the exact ticket so took a guess. Its the same principle however.

Im talking average attendance not the big games.

Lets face it barry ! We had our stadium up and running 5 years before u layed a footing for yours, so lets not slag us of for having a smaller ground and not rushink through our expansion hey.
After all we did that in the 80s and splashed the cash and we nearly lost our club for it.
We are in a strong position and doing things sensibly.
Our squad is strong our waiting list for season tickets are between 5 and 8k depending on who u talk to and we are in europe after winning a cup.
We are moving along well and with our own youth academy near the ground and 100 acres of land in fairwood being developed in to one of the top training and sports science in europe under way with the club and swansea uni I think we are getting every thing in place for our future.
The plans for the stadium have been drawn up and are being submitted by xmas ready for work to start for the start of next season.
Things look a lot more secure for us then they do for u thats for sure.
