Id applaud a society that encourages people to be okay with who they are. I wouldnt applaud a society encouraging people to be gay just as I wouldnt ine encouraging people to be straight.

You still havent answered where people are encouraging ithers to be gay, its what your stance seems to be based on so an expansion in that would help aid the debate.

So what do you think about the politically correct brigade trying to force teachers to teach homosexuality in class to young kids, where do you start? Ok pupils we're going to start today with Aam and Steve, and well, erm, well, it's well, em.

For bisexuals, who they are, depends on external social forces such as campaigns that make homosexuality trendy. should we encourage a culture that nudges sexual fence-sitters into a life of homosexuality given all the negative spin-offs

What? You are saying that if a % of a species is gay then it cannot survive? If that wasthe case then the planet would on,y have insects and micro organisms in it and us along with the majority of other mammals would be long gone.

I'm all for it. They aren't going into the Gorey details of how gay people have sex

It is an explanation that people if the same sex can be in love as well as people of opposite genders

It's teaching the ways of the world, not a campaign to great a gay nation

 bisexuals arent "undecided" and just pick one for life, choosing a football team it aint.

They are attracted to BOTH genders AT ALL TIMES. Who they pick is down to who they connect with just as straight relationships are formed... Not by saying "if your gay then its fine".

You think by saying "being gay is ok" when its still heavily frowned upon is "drumming it in to the nation" in the hope to turn straight people gay?

They have survivors because heterosexualism (is that a word??) is the natural normal way of evolution and sustaining your species.
Without it species and humans would not have survived for millions of years.
The family, natural instinct of protecting your offspring comes from being a natural parent.
Those who are "surprised" by their gay urges (as you put it) would not last 2 generations. Therefore it is not natural to be homosexual, as virtually no life would be left on this planet.

Bisexuality is the attraction to both males and females. The choice is based on who they connect woth but the attraction to both sexes will remain forever regardless of what partner they choose.

To answer that question of societal factors then you just have to look at Pakistan, and some middle eastern countries as homosexuality is heavily frowned upon. Of course its going to be less prevalent as people dont want to be abused and castegated for who they are. But id bet anything I have that homosexuality isnt any lower, just ones with the courage to live it.

Opression is not a good thing, which seems to be the route you are going down.

Bloody phone, my apologies suppressed is what I was going for there

And you're Wrong again, they survived because they adapted to their environment better than other species did, yes, part
Of that is breeding, but just because they managed to breed does not mean homosexuality didnt occur often.

He doesnt need to have children to have an opinion of what the countries people are and arent taught. The fact hes a human gives him that right. Surely it is far better to want people to be taught to be accepting of others rather than discriminate based on uncontrolable factors? If thats the case lets teach kids to hate ethnic minorities while we are at it.

Pakistan will have a lower rate of bisexuals converting to homosexuality this would mitigate against marital breakdown along with all it's woes, and this choice will come at no cost to the mans happiness in life as he doesn't have a preference . Genetic homosexuals are different and will seek men out nomatter what, oppression of this group is wrong but they should only be tolerated and not celebrated, As celebration may tempt the fence sitters into a world of god knows what.

Political correctness can be used to oppress also.

My brother only last year came out as being bisexual (although my views havent been swayed by the personal nature of the topic, i have always had these beliefs and have been involved in these such discussions long before he announced it to us). He described it as being a living hell having a very sport orientated and masculine family and have met both a boyfriend and a girlfriend since.

It was odd seeing him with another man, im not going to lie. But thats due to the fact I never imagined he would be with a man and probably due to the prejudice that has now become almost cultural in society.
