Wrong. Using European streams is perfectly fine as long as the service is paid for as a fellow European citizen would do so. As EU law emphasises equality then people within the EU member states have just as much right as one another to use whatever EU SERVICE they desire.

Now, on to the next point, not all pubs use a satellite and some use the internet and HD streaming setup's from ASIA using services such as Al Jazeera which is illegal, hence the need for using a VPN or TOR client to get around the restrictions imposed.

If you think every pub uses a satellite dish and EU satellite dish then you are deluded. So whilst using NovaSports from EU countries like Greece/Bulgaria is fine, using an Asian streaming service like Al Jazeera is not.

Sky are pursuing landlords and using other methods to get them to pay up through the courts.

Charlie Browns on Saint Mary Street opposite Cardiff Market will be showing the game on 2 projector screens and 3 x 42 inch plasma screens plus 9 more TVs and will be showing all home and away games and decent drink offers
place is owned by a bluebird season ticket holder

Spoke to Gareth the assistant manager at the Captains Table in Saundersfoot earlier and he said that they will put the game on there for us.
so if anyone down that way looking for somewhere to watch the game see you there

yes for wh game took a bit of finding but as long as he says its on they will put It on as they will advetise the game they show I will be there

Codswollap!! In our pub it is live streamed, perfect picture, perfect commentary sky have even been in to try and negotiate a better deal, nothing hidden all the Satallite banners on the front of the pub but they couldn't give a better deal because they work on ratable value of the property and being a massive place they're figures were ridiculous!! No where near what we pay!! Hence we have a massive crowd for every game!

some might be doing that illegally but the better systems out there have the premier league logo s taken off which means people not breaking any copy right laws ,the firm i have used won there case in the high court recently against copyright against the premier league do to them being a European private media company ,as long as landlords are buying streams for a european registered company and are not showing the premier league logos during live games its totally legal
also for the record sky are not taking people to court the premier league are for breach of copyright using there logos on live games sky can only take people to court for using there cards illegally ie using home cards in pubs

The more expensive systems have the logos blurred out. Also the pubs who pay their Sky business subscription alongside the IPTV will be far less likely to be prosecuted. The goalposts will move again next season, but the systems will no doubt move to counteract

Where did I suggest they were illegal Alex? Have you been to every pub on said list to prove its a legal stream/feed? No you haven't so pipe down.

There are of course pub owners out there using illegal feeds and streams because there has, if you read the links, been numerous prosecutions with hefty fines, these after the EU courts judgement.

You seem to be implying that everyone uses a Greek decoder which is complete idiocy.

white hills pub NOT 100% the game will be shown on al jazeera sports today ,cause there's, 6 premier league 3pm games which is not the norm and only 5 possible channels to show it ,it looks like they have pulled our game and are showing the other 5 instead ,will keep you up to date today cause its not un usual for these foreign sat company's to change there programming at the last minute ,but if its on we will be showing it i think most pubs are in the same position only nbc america showing the game

The pantmawr ain't showing anymore games and rhiwbeina rec was terrible, feed would go black for up to 3-4 minutes at a time. the butchers arms was great connection but no commentary

Was on in the golden lion in Penarth. Not as busy as the west ham game, but no problems with the stream

The Angel on maesycwmmer hill was very good yesterday . The feed was pretty much uninterrupted and free food at half time . Very busy too . Will be returning.

Captains Table in Saundersfoot had the game on. no problems a few city in there as well
would like to thank Gareth the assistant manager who was very welcoming, nice pub and would recomend it to anyone who is down that way and wanting to catch a game on the tv.
just give them a ring a day or 2 before the game and they will tell you if they will have the game on (depending on what other games k/o the same time)
