Swansea season 1, p3 w0 d2 l1 f0 a4 Gd-4 pts2 pos 15th
Cardiff season 1 p3 w1 d1 l1 f3 a4 Gd -1 pts 4 pos11th

So not getting carried away but a better start from the hoof ball team against man city, west ham and Everton when compared against Sunderland, Wigan and man city.

Doing ok so far me thinks.

Even last year Swansea's 2nd season for the same games we have played they only had one point, we had a really hard start...

You spent a lot more than us in the first season though. And any case, it's where you are in May not the end of August that counts. Judge the 2 teams next May.

I love the gypocripsy of some of the jacks on here. Sl69 is really angry that we are above them claiming that we are struggling to get shots on target whilst playing hoofball etc. we had at least 3 on target v Everton and there were several times when we played one pass too many. So what if Everton had more of the ball. Possession only counts if you do damage in your opponents penalty area which they didn't. Love the way that they say Everton are shit this year with similar squad to the team that came 6th last season and whom the self proclaimed swansealona with 99% possession couldn't score against.

Swansea have beaten WBA who will struggle this season. A good result but hardly something to make the big clubs sit up and crap themselves.

Dear oh dear. Calling Ccfc arrogant from a swansealona fan who claims the whole world loves his little team. Oh the irony of it.

From a Swansea point of view I think we've had an acceptable start to the season , we've qualified for the Europa league with the minimum of effort , played well against man u but were given a lesson in finishing , lost to a penalty away to spurs and totally outplayed WBA away so all in all not to bad , and I have no doubt we will finish above you come may and if you were honest you know that as well ;)

Haven't seen your games v spurs or WBA so maybe not in a position to comment but I genuinely believe that Ccfc can finish above Swansea. A lot depends on Europe league and how much that takes out of you but we will surprise a number of teams this year. Our work ethic is as good as any other team and whilst it only gets you so far it is probably the most important thing in football. Malky has bought very well. Gary Medel is a top player along with caulker. Kimbo seems naturally suited to premier league and the majority of last seasons squad will have little difficulty stepping up. The spine of the team is strong which is key to survival and as long as we stay injury free 11th or 12th is within our grasp.

WBA are not weakest. Palace are shit. Sunderland and Fulham are worse as well. WBA will finish above hull and wil end up 14th or 15th

Spoke to a Jack work colleague this morning who was at the game yesterday, he reckons they were poor, should be 6 points for us if they don't strengthen.

I'd say it was Sunderland at the moment - Di Canio must be pissing off his squad more and more every day when he has a pop at them on camera. The new Joe Kinnear!

They do look daunting but our style of play will get in the faces of the big guns and whilst we will lose a fair few we might just surprise 1 or 2 clubs. The key for us is v the likes of WBA, Sjoke, palarse, hull and Norwich. Win at home and draw away and survival could be secured relatively comfortably. The win v man city was a bonus and any points from top 7 or 8 teams ae welcome.

I think you'll stay up comfortably unfortunately , we got off relatively lightly with Europa draw just the one trip into darkest Russia but who knows how we will adapt , personally I think we'll be ok but injuries may play a part who knows

They won't struggle, they made 2 good signings on deadline day in Stephane Sessegnon and Victor Anichebe.

Anichebe has flattered to deceive and is injury prone. Sessegnon is a good player on his day but is way too inconsistent. They certainly wont finish as high as last season.

Maybe so, but they won't be in the bottom 3. They were poor sunday and were lucky not to just ship 2 goals. We've had some decent results against the baggies of late so maybe we've got a little hoodoo over them.

Laughable that if we do get chances we will score them.

We beat Man City, possession means f**k all if you can't do nothing attacking with it like you lot.
