Why dont he stay out of the f*cking limelight.

Shouldnt be putting himself in the spotlight this week opening himself up to the questions.

Kicking off the season in 2 days time ffs should be about Malky and the lads not him.

Like an Asian Ian Holloway.

Put a f*cking sock in it.

American sports team have a nickname that represent the area the come from. Dallas is renown for the Cowboy and Pittsburgh Steelers goes without saying. Going on that logic Cardiff Bluebirds would be acceptable to most. However and lets be honest here Tan is pushing for Cradiff Dragons. Why because it represents Wales/Malaysia/China. Thats what the Cardiff City fans needs to be aware of.

Edited your post for you! :)

Had to look a few times before seeing it.

This is where Tan has made a mistake in understanding us. The Dragon is for the national level not club tier. The Bluebird symbol gives us our uniqueness NOT the dragon. Tan is trying to bring in the oriental in disguise of our nationality. Not good at all that.

:) I suspect that you will only be able to judge whether he's gauged things right, by the success of the club on the field!

If the team become successful at Premier League level, then the fan base prepared to accept his changes will rise even further and I can't see any protesting fan groups making a difference to him if that happens!

Other fans who have accepted the red, endorsed it and some even like it, should Resect the opinion of us fans who still want our identity back.

Now some will say we would of had no club, I have been there on 6 different occasions in 41 years and been there when we were 2hrs away from folding etc etc etc I also do nt believe we would never off had a club and the truth s, Tan never said we would not.

when the re-brand first broke vinny came out and said he would not proceed with it.then he sat back and watched the fans almost crap themselves because he said he would be looking for new people to invest in the club.that was taken as im leaving.vincent tan never said he would leave.when he saw the split in the fanbase he went full pelt and redded you up.is it just me but does anyone else think these media bursts are meant to drip into the fans that it may happen and also to gauge opinion?when he see,s fans saying i,ll accept this or i,ll accept that he will think this is easy.im going to do it sooner rather than later.make no mistake.it will not be cardiff city bluebirds.vinny didnt give you the beer mat with a dragon on it to call you bluebirds.if vincent tan had said before he brought in to cardiff city that he would re-brand you and let s/t holders vote on whether to go with it then fair enough but he didn,t and has been very shady about it.for anyone to think he doesnt want to do the name change is just laughable.in vincent tans world when he says not now he means not now this second.tomorrow isn,t now.by next season, the one after the latest he will imo try to push through the name change.

Cardiff & The Valleys FC.

Our logo should be the sheep. No one expects the sheep to be dangerous which is actually why its so dangerous. The sheep just stands there in a field, chilling like a boss and then when it wants to makes it move. If you've seen the film Black Sheep you will know fully well what I mean. Sheep are lethal animals and would definitely slay the dragon. I think someone should tell Tan.

He really has no idea about the title. People have great pride in being a city....its an honour....something to brag about. Swansea changed from town to city and newport spent decades trying to get city status.
To everyone bar Tan the Hull City owner comes across as an ignorant buffoon. The title of city should be cherished not insulted.

I agree. Anyone who believes Tan won’t change the name is only kidding themselves. We all know deep down that dark day will come. He’s changed the kit colour and he’s given us that pathetic badge. The new seats will be red and it’s only a matter of time before the rest of the seats are changed along with the lego panels on the outside of the stadium. Then he’ll drop the Bluebird from that hideous badge and finally change the name to Cardiff Dragons which will probably be within the next 2 to 3 years. And he’ll do this because he can and unfortunately have very little resistance from us fans. This is why the BU march on 25th August is more important than ever for us ALL to unite as one for the sake of Cardiff City.
Players come and go, managers come and go and owners come and go, but us fans are here for the long term and we need to stick together not argue and snipe at each other over what we all know is going to happen unless we stand together to show the football world that we do care about our club.

Our identity is far more important than premier league football.

Yes indeed. Never mind comments like “But definitely we are not changing anything now.” because it won't suit the negative agendas of those who simply cannot see the wood for the trees

Doesn't make it right; particularly if the other party (in this case Tan) have the better overall manifesto, does it? ;) :ayatollah:
