It is a time for all city fans wishing to wear Blue & Unite,
to celebrate CCFC's history & identity as the Bluebirds.

We ask that all opinions be put aside and that you join us in a show of force to honour the Identity that will not be visible on the pitch.

As its our first home game in the premiership we believe it is a fitting tribute.

DO NOT ATTEND if you are planning to cause any detrimental atmosphere.

Abuse at other fans will not be tolerated, nor will foul language.

With the worlds media on hand it is imperative that all persons act respectful and conduct themselves accordingly.

Please turn up to show what being a Bluebird means to you.
This is our best chance to show a force that would still like the clubs true identity to be recognised.

This is a celebration of our
History - IDENTITY - Pride

This is not a Tan out March!

If anything we are trying to implore the club to see what this means to us.

We are grateful for investment and would like our home colour and badge to be rectified so that we are once again recognisable as Cardiff City Bluebirds - The Capital City of Wales football team.

It is our belief that if this were to happen then any future success at the club could be enjoyed by all city fans.

Please be there to show you care - Bluebirds Unite . CCFC :ayatollah: :ayatollah: :ayatollah:

Could it be any clearer?

Could it be any more reasoned and polite?

All Tan has to do is to sit down with supporters Groups and listen. Not rocket science.

All this could be avoided if he'd just speak to the fans

So why can't the supporters groups sit down with VT and listen to him? What absolutely beggers belief with me over this is why the hell do you think an individual should shove £100m of his personal fortune into our football club and then totally abandon his marketing strategy?

It has been explained a million times why VT rebranded to red. None of us like it, but the majority of us understand it. Your head in the ground attitude to how the hell we are supposed to pay the bills is quite frankly breath taking and dangerous.

Re: show of force to honour the Identity

In a nutshell Tony, superbly put and 100% agree with you. People need to get over it and move on as VT strategy will not change regardless of the opposition.

Cardiff City as a club are going places with or without the anti VT brigade.

Keep it up guys. Your inability to accept that people have a right to support their club as they see fit totally discredits any argument you may be trying to make.

You don't like having the truth pointed out to you. Branson has had plenty of media time recently and so too did Mosley. This is what the press had to say about him:

"Genuinely eager to champion . . . underdogs, . . . dynamic . . . popular, gifted and a natural leader." - The Guardian

"Brilliant . . . compassionate and humane . . . of genuine courage and leadership" - The Daily Telegraph.

"Thought to have been the most . . . gifted political leader of the twentieth century, . . . brilliant debater, gifted and lucid and compassionate" - The Times.

He was actually a fifth columnist, so with that in mind, be careful not to be lulled into a dangerous cult that ends up destroying the very thing you claim to love.

This epitomizes the flaw in your logic: you cannot distinguish between opinion and fact. Let me help you:

Paris is the capital of France. Fact.
Cardiff City should only play in blue. Opinion.

I understand the point you are making the trouble is comparing Sian Branson to Oswald Mosley. I think Sian is out of her depth (opinion) but that doesn't mean we should stoop so low as to compare her with a Fascist leader.

Just to correct you on a point - someone who is illiberal, as you put it is, by definition, conservative (small C). Liberals are open to change, conservatives are not.

This means that BU are conservative; they want to preserve matters; they will not accept change. But, as Darwin made clear in his Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection, it is those who are most ready to adapt to change are the ones most likely to survive.

Here's the bit I don't understand :-
We were red last season and I didn't see any marches ?
We let VT chuck his money into CCFC knowing that he wasn't gonna change us back to blue , but I didn't see any marches ?
We let VT pay off Langston knowing the same as above , but I didn't see any marches ?
We knew VT's money was getting us promoted to the Premier League , but I didn't see any marches ?
VT's money spent on stadium expansion / training facilities (knowing his red strategy) , but I didn't see any marches ?

People like TLG "hung up their boots" and said "that's too far for me". I respect that.

So , why now ? Supporters who have been along for the ride on VT's money are now marching ? Have they "hung up their boots" too ?

This is a genuine question , and maybe I will be prepared to walk to the ground with BU if anyone can answer me.

There was a march last year, and a strong pro-blue presence in the ground and at away games. The fans sang 'We'll always be blue' as the trophy was lifted.

People didn't want to be accused of disrupting the team (as if!) so there were limited marches.

This is a celebration walk to honour the club's true identity as we reach the promised land.

I dreamt of Cardiff CIty in the premier league, not knock off Bristol City, so people have a right to celebrate as they see fit.

All excellent points.

In my opinion BU are a bunch of frauds as they quite happily accepted Mr Tan's money under false pretenses.

If they had a shred of integrity, they would either shut up and support the club or show some integrity and leave.

It's when they do one or the other they'll have my respect.

This is a genuine question , and maybe I will be prepared to walk to the ground with BU if anyone can answer me.

, and a strong pro-blue presence in the ground and at away games.

I nkow about the presence in the grounds. That wasn't my question. And , I was there when the trophy was lifted (wearing blue). My question is about marches not in the ground support ?
I didn't know there was a march last year ? What game was that ?

Blackburn home game.

The big change was scarfgate.

How you can wear blue and then spend so much time mocking blues is beyond me. That's a very perculiar outlook.

Hold on a minute "big boy" , I aint mocked any fucker!
I'm asking genuine questions. As I said I may even join this march.
Blackburn home last season ? I apologise , I didn't know it happened.

Genuine apology mate. I thought that factgasm had sent the initial message. My apologies.

Because the people who are now BU could see the success that Mr Tan's money was bringing to the club and wanted that more than the return of the blue kit.

Guaranteed, once the reality of life in the Premier League sets in and City go on a run of bad results (heaven forbid) the BUs will claim ever more loudly that the only way the club can return to winning ways is to return to playing in blue.
